Looks like a great start. Im not a soil guy but that soil looks good to me.

Want to elaborate on your plan for this grow?

What lights? Space dimensions? What sort of eqp nutrients and soil you using?

it’s my first time trying I just wanted to see how good I would do with random seeds before I spent my money on these websites.
I’m currently using 5 t5 lights 24w 3 GE plant lights 30w and a 60w cfl
5x5 grow space
I’m using Foxfarm nutes at about 1/4 strength PH level around 6.2
The soil I’m using is a mix of Foxfarm ocean forest and Sta green soil. I also added some bone meal michroriza epsom salt and blood meal. ( I let it sit for 30 days before I used)

Cool. That sounds like a good setup for a first test run.

I would differ to a soil grower, but a common thing I see is those soils already have nutrients built-in. So while 1/4 strength is not much. It might be better to go with none until they get a bit bigger. It's very very common to overfeed and kill them in this stage when new. Much less common to underfeed, especially in good soil like that.

Plus, underfeeding is an easy fix. Post a picture of any sort of leaf abnormality and we've got you back helping you address it.

Can't take nutrients back out of the soil so easy, however.

thanks for the advice I will stop using the nutes until there older. I also just recently transplanted them
I do have many weird leaf abnormalities though
