Ya those are the fans ill be getting, one on each filter. And I dont have the sock filter, I have actual carbon filters....that was the difference i was talking about earlier.

What kind of yield did you get when you used it? Im putting 3 plants in mine. Its rated for 4. And I think im changing the strain to Northern Lights for my first grow. Im too paranoid about smell this very first time and ive read its relatively low odor.

3 Northern Lights from Southern Oregon Seeds. Made by them too.

Well, yield is strongly affected by lights and genetics. My kit came with the kind l300 light. I was growing 2 at a time in soil . My biggest yield in it was probably 2 to 3 zips.

Northern lights will be fine. I had similar concerns when moving here. Which were well founded but that’s another story. You’re main concern is keeping it down if you’re spot is compromised it’s very hard to grow there unless you’re a cheeky fucker like me. Have been warned by landlord but am working 1.5m2 (think that’s 5ft square off top of head) c-99 I started with but I love skunks and chems and crazy women not good combo. I now am just working three females so I can zip up tent and work inside. I will use tent as drying room too. Can make problems if you’re pheno aren’t in synch. I run a 6” hyper fan will have to look at spec but believe a cfm of 350 -450. Nl is a very good strain to test your set up you can tweak later. Ona gel is good but maybe keep away from intake. In pictures you should be able to see the negative pressure sucking my tent in. Oh how are you disposing air?

Got my Box on wed. Just been busy and havent uploaded, went to CO SPGS over the weekend. Started to germinate yesterday. Its been 24hr and one has cracked, the others look like they are about to crack. Prolly leave in there for another 24hrs.

Also, should i follow that feeding schedule on the paper that came with the nutes or stick to what i was planning on doing? Also, which nutes do i actually need to be using? there are so many there... As far as negative pressure? Not sure, those 2 carbon filters have fans that constantly run when plugged in to draw the air out........do they need to be constantly running?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

WHat a nightmare..

So i have my filter fans......and small 4in fan running. Have the lights set to 18/6 and the light is about 16in away from the top to start with

Temp/Humidity: 71.4/54%

I was placing my seeds in the pots and "lost" one. I was trying to plant it root down. It was like a game of fucking operation. Every time i tried to grab the seed with tweezers to plant right side up, a little bit of soil kept falling into the hole i made until i just couldnt find the seed. I went ahead and kept it and we will see if it sprouts, if not ill germinate another and just plant it.

Watering: Geez took me forever. I measured out 300ml (100 for each plant) added a little calmag. I didnt measure, just added maybe 2mil...im not totally sure. PHed the water best i could with these little droplet things i have. Its sitting ~6 ph, according to the color chart. My PPM was ~250 or so.

Suggestions? Ill post some more pics later.

Whow I wouldn’t give a seedling any nutes it has enough nutrients for a couple of weeks. And I’m guessing you cave it cal mag because you’ve put it under your kind led? Another no no will be too strong what wattage is the kind led?

Im growing in coco coir so I was told it has no nutes and therefore I have to add some each time. I just did a tad of calmag. thats it.

Im growing under a 150w HPS, sitting 16in from the tops right now...

Also how deep have you planted seeds. I plant just beneath surface and scuff a little dirt over sometimes I can still just about see the seed. Then I cover tops of pots with cling film to make a sort of humidity tent till there up:ninja:

About an in....to my first knuckle basically.

The one i "lost" i have no idea where it is. I really hope I dont have to germinate an extra one and throw it in there.

Is the hps dual can it take a metal halide bulb too? Did it come with contacter to stop power surges?

Not sure if its dual. The light is plugged into a timer, which is plugged into a gfci protector, so no surges messing it up or anything..

Well ill just have to see what happens, no way im finding the seeds ive planted after covering them up. Hopefully they will sprout. About how long normally? and should I start the 18/6 cycle?

Mine sprout within 2 days mainly. I veg on 14 hours or 14.5! I would not put them under that light yet but is only 150w so someone else may say you will be ok?

I figured if its far away enough it wouldnt matter, which is why im keep it ~16in from top right now. My timer is set to come on in a few hrs to start its full cycles of 18/6. You think i should go to 14 and 10? This works for you ?

This works for me I’m using regs though and there’s a theory it can help get more fems. Although haven’t run a comparison with 18-12 I see no difference. What plant in nature gets 18-12. But I’ve also started seedlings under 24-0 was low on timers had no problems but they like some dark
