No kidding bro! I can't believe u have all of those old family photos. Every damn one of them actually tells a thousand words. Very very cool

i guess so

Metal Halide or high pressure sodium would be better,
but you would need to cool it some how..

If you still want to use cfls, Get two of these big ones (14 bucks each)

Everyone has a different idea about how big is "BIG"! So I just like Big.....
Of course my opinion changes with every drink or smoke.

Has anyone ever flowered with those cfl's Ken posted? That would be cool if they worked. I just have to agree with Ken on the hps. The smallest hps I know of at the local shops is @ 150 watts I think. They are probably really cheap and I bet u they will be a better alternative than cfl. I don't know for sure because I am no lighting expert.

I have flowered with cfl a long time ago. I flowered under aquarium incandescent bulbs before too....all not real great, cfl worked OK (great at the time but I had no better experience at the time)

Then, I got my first real 400 hps and man oh man what a difference (the 400 was a street lamp that managed to find its way into my car, with the ten foot steel arm on it still!)

Are u serious? Maybe Outwest where the winds blow tall.... I doubt HD is slinging ballasts down here. I gotta go check this out

You remind me of my younger brother. He also found a streetlight hps in his trunk. Amost 20 years ago i think. Damn we used to do some crazy shit. Lol
