Started this little girl in mid april and flipped june 9th so 35 days into flower... i think. Havent grown in a while and have a baby on the way so getting in one last hoorah before i gotta do daddy stuff all the time. Figured one plant is going to give me enough ganj. I barely smoke at all anymore. Just like staring at it while they grow haha. Its my happy place

Tent: 3x3x5 in my attic.
Lights: rapidLED custom build with 3 growmau5 100w pucks.
Coco/perlite in a 5 gal fabric pot
80lb mono trellis (im a fisherman so got tons of it layin around)
GH nutes the whole time with some calmag here n there. Keepin it real simple.

Besides a few gnats no real issues yet. Easiest plant ive ever grown. It doesnt give a shit what i do. Only thing im concerned about is mold with how thick it is. Got 3 fans and a big dehumidifier runnin.

I think i had these lights cranked up to high during veg and during stretch cuz she grew realllly bushy. Lmao.

Some pics of the grow so far:

Lol yea gonna be at least 3 more yrs for that. I heard babies are pretty fuggin dumb. If he/she is anything like the old man theyre gonna stay pretty dumb too.
I almost chopped it down . Were in abit of time crunch trying to find a new place (landlord wont renew our lease hes trying to sell it) so i didnt get to veg her as long as i wanted to. Wish i could have used up the whole tent but it will be enough to keep the baby stoned for at least 6 months 😆

Forgot to mention...i never top my plants! Just LST and scrog. No time lost n i still get plenty of colas and a nice even canopy. Old habit from starting with autos i guess. Just cant let them stretch too much in the beginning/seeding stage

Shes gettin fatter everyday now. All the gaps are startin to fill in. Prolly 4 weeks left til she gets axed. Smell is so nice. sweet but skunky.

Added some nematodes to make sure these gnats dont get too crazy (only had a few on my traps) and installed a dehumidifier. Got it down to 49 rh during the day and 60 at night now. Cranked it up a little more and want to keep it around 45. Temps are 75-77 lights on and 68 to 70 at night.

This is my first grow using coco n i will never go back to soil haha. Its so easy!

When you start growing again you should look into Mantis Buffered Nutrients. Easiest nutrient solution because it's a one part nutrient. 5mL nutrient to 1L of water. I have spent like no time with my plants lately because it basically grows itself, jut have to feed once a day usually. I have a friend who grows using mantis in DWC and he pretty much has his whole grow automated. Just has to top up the reservoir tank whenever its low.

How does that work with reducing nitrogen? I used to use technoflora nutes and like 5 or 6 dif things. The gh 3 part floraseries is pretty simple and this plant seems to like it. . Im usually only adding 2-4 ml of nutes each watering throughout the grow but i do change it up once im in full flower. I hate dealing with nitrogen toxicity. The only thing that takes anytime is getting the right pH. I probably wont switch until these bottles are empty but i will look into it. One thing ive noticed is a lot of salt creep on the veg/grow bottle. Also looking at switching to the dry nutrients to amend the soil with like gaia green. Trying to focus on keeping things simple and cheap.

So the way it works is the nutrients are buffered so it sets the PH at 5.7-6.2. This allows the plant to take up the nutrients it needs when It needs it. It's the same ratio from seed to harvest. The picture below is what I feed my plant every day and it hasn't changed! Super easy and nice that its only one product. It works super well with auto flowers too. You don't have to guess when the plant is turning to flower and switch nutrients when it does.

Im struggling with humidity at night. My rh meter is reading its getting 75-78% at night and 45% during the day. I have an portable ac unit that runs 24/7 and drains a good bit of water and a big 50pt dehumidifier running 24/7 as well that pulls about 1.5 gal ever 24 hrs. Still cant keep it down inside the tent. Anybody have any suggestions? It gets so humid where i live at night ...85%. Its also 92 during the day and 70-73 at night. My tent stays between 77 daytime and 65 late at night. I should have reversed the lights so the ran at night to balance things out. Oh well. Im not trying to get mold/bud rot at the very end. Had that happen in south florida and it was heartbreaking. 2lbs ruined.

New pics... calyxes are still swelling and trichs are packing on. Looks like the edges on some of my bigger fan leaves are burnt but im not sure its nute burn. Its only on the left side. I gave 1ml less of everything today. I was feeding 2.5ml floramicro, 4ml florabloom, and 3ml technaflora's sugardaddy every 2 days pH'd to 5.8 and watering through til theres about a quarter gal of water runoff to make sure no salt buildup. Also adding .5 tsp of "recharge" every 3 waterings.

Not sure if i should defoliate any more to open up light for lower sites this late into flower but the colas are so close together. Im gonna cut more small stuff off and space things out next time. This plant just didnt stretch like i thought she would. I never had that happen. I guess im used0 to sativas.

With what you have working so well I'd leave her alone. There is a huge difference due to genetics for sure.

Well as much as i hate leaving town for 4 days this close to the end...it was our anniversary so i didnt have much say lol. Last water was thursday and my buddy never stopped by Friday or Saturday or Sunday or Monday. Just stopped by right before i got home n sends me a pic of it. Then he tells me "theyre sticky". Thanks for squeezing my stressed out dying nugs clown boy...

Dehumidifier wasnt on either, auto shut off humidity was 68% when i opened the tent. Plant isn't dead but pretty much all the fan leaves turned yellow or light green at best. Dont see any mold on the buds but the leaves i pulled off didnt look great. Kinda wetish brownish spots on em. Ive had budrot before and it sucks....

Such a fuckin bummer. I live in a state where i cant be tellin everybody to water it and he was the one guy i trusted. Hopefully it bounces back so i can flush it. Not one big issue the whole grow and i get a bitchslap right at the end. Never fails!
Nugs look frostier than when i left. I just hope they can put on a little more weight and the trichomes fully mature before all the leaves die. Im glad i left so many leaves on there after all... i truly think thats what saved it, enough moisture and nutrients in all those big healthy fan leaves to keep it goin. Cuz that coco was the sahara desert

I'm pretty sure you'll never ask him again to check/water when you're away... :(

I think this plant is going to go 10 full weeks from flip to 12/12. Its got a few cloudy trichomes maybe 5%...yesterday was 56 days.

Some of the trichomes have purple in them. Never had that on a plant before. Tried to get the best pic i could. The trichs look cloudier in the pic because of the light on my loupe

What do you guys think?

60 bucks a liter to make 200l/50 gals...insanity...I need to win the lottery for that overpriced water...

The GH floraseries, at the strength i use it at, is stupid cheap. I used maybe a tenth of each bottle for the entire grow. And a tiny bit of cal mag (not much tho, i think people dose wayyyy to high on cal mag) If i pushed it any harder than that on the GH i would burn the plants. Ive tried other lines and organic. GH gets a bad rap from some people so i avoided it for yrs. Might go to organic ammended dry nutrients eventually after i use up all the GH but its been great so far. I used this chart at half strength throughout the whole grow every other day. Also used .5 tsp of "recharge" every 3 waterings in flower but i dont know how much of a real difference it made. Every 4th watering in veg i used plain water. I also always went at least 10-20% runoff every time.
