Or keep you sane for 6 months!Lol yea gonna be at least 3 more yrs for that. I heard babies are pretty fuggin dumb. If he/she is anything like the old man theyre gonna stay pretty dumb too.
I almost chopped it down . Were in abit of time crunch trying to find a new place (landlord wont renew our lease hes trying to sell it) so i didnt get to veg her as long as i wanted to. Wish i could have used up the whole tent but it will be enough to keep the baby stoned for at least 6 months
When you start growing again you should look into Mantis Buffered Nutrients. Easiest nutrient solution because it's a one part nutrient. 5mL nutrient to 1L of water. I have spent like no time with my plants lately because it basically grows itself, jut have to feed once a day usually. I have a friend who grows using mantis in DWC and he pretty much has his whole grow automated. Just has to top up the reservoir tank whenever its low.
So the way it works is the nutrients are buffered so it sets the PH at 5.7-6.2. This allows the plant to take up the nutrients it needs when It needs it. It's the same ratio from seed to harvest. The picture below is what I feed my plant every day and it hasn't changed! Super easy and nice that its only one product. It works super well with auto flowers too. You don't have to guess when the plant is turning to flower and switch nutrients when it does. How does that work with reducing nitrogen? I used to use technoflora nutes and like 5 or 6 dif things. The gh 3 part floraseries is pretty simple and this plant seems to like it. . Im usually only adding 2-4 ml of nutes each watering throughout the grow but i do change it up once im in full flower. I hate dealing with nitrogen toxicity. The only thing that takes anytime is getting the right pH. I probably wont switch until these bottles are empty but i will look into it. One thing ive noticed is a lot of salt creep on the veg/grow bottle. Also looking at switching to the dry nutrients to amend the soil with like gaia green. Trying to focus on keeping things simple and cheap.
With what you have working so well I'd leave her alone. There is a huge difference due to genetics for sure. Not sure if i should defoliate any more to open up light for lower sites this late into flower but the colas are so close together. Im gonna cut more small stuff off and space things out next time. This plant just didnt stretch like i thought she would. I never had that happen. I guess im used0 to sativas.
I'm pretty sure you'll never ask him again to check/water when you're away... :(Well as much as i hate leaving town for 4 days this close to the end...it was our anniversary so i didnt have much say lol. Last water was thursday and my buddy never stopped by Friday or Saturday or Sunday or Monday. Just stopped by right before i got home n sends me a pic of it. Then he tells me "theyre sticky". Thanks for squeezing my stressed out dying nugs clown boy...
Dehumidifier wasnt on either, auto shut off humidity was 68% when i opened the tent. Plant isn't dead but pretty much all the fan leaves turned yellow or light green at best. Dont see any mold on the buds but the leaves i pulled off didnt look great. Kinda wetish brownish spots on em. Ive had budrot before and it sucks....
Such a fuckin bummer. I live in a state where i cant be tellin everybody to water it and he was the one guy i trusted. Hopefully it bounces back so i can flush it. Not one big issue the whole grow and i get a bitchslap right at the end. Never fails!
Nugs look frostier than when i left. I just hope they can put on a little more weight and the trichomes fully mature before all the leaves die. Im glad i left so many leaves on there after all... i truly think thats what saved it, enough moisture and nutrients in all those big healthy fan leaves to keep it goin. Cuz that coco was the sahara desert
Told him ill hook em up with a big ol bag for helpin. Hes gettin some cbd shwag nowI'm pretty sure you'll never ask him again to check/water when you're away... :(
Longer than 10 weeks? Its 8.5 weeks right now.I would go longer.
60 bucks a liter to make 200l/50 gals...insanity...I need to win the lottery for that overpriced water...When you start growing again you should look into Mantis Buffered Nutrients. The GH floraseries, at the strength i use it at, is stupid cheap. I used maybe a tenth of each bottle for the entire grow. And a tiny bit of cal mag (not much tho, i think people dose wayyyy to high on cal mag) If i pushed it any harder than that on the GH i would burn the plants. Ive tried other lines and organic. GH gets a bad rap from some people so i avoided it for yrs. Might go to organic ammended dry nutrients eventually after i use up all the GH but its been great so far. I used this chart at half strength throughout the whole grow every other day. Also used .5 tsp of "recharge" every 3 waterings in flower but i dont know how much of a real difference it made. Every 4th watering in veg i used plain water. I also always went at least 10-20% runoff every time.60 bucks a liter to make 200l/50 gals...insanity...I need to win the lottery for that overpriced water...
