My Medical Dream Room: 6000w

NOTE: THIS IS A 100% LEGAL MEDICAL GROW.

I have finally made my way out to a legal state and am in the process of constructing my first major grow room. I am just going to use this thread as sort of a picture/video dump. I will probably only just provide a caption with each picture - not a big fan of typing :P But, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask.

Dimensions are 14x20 and I will do the first run with no more than 6000w. Hopefully in the future it will expand to 12k.

Added a layer of wood and then dry wall and hung the door. We wanted to put plywood up for added security and the dry wall for aesthetics. The door is a steel door for security along with a deadbolt.

Up next: paint the wall, cover inside with panda plastic, install exhaust, hang ballasts and hoods.

Started insulation and hung the ballasts. Electrician is coming tomorrow to wire a 100A subpanel in the room. I also have started seed germination. This first run will include 24 Pure Power Plant, 2 Kandy Kush, and 2 Dutch Passion Blueberry.

Rockwool cubes are soaked in a solution that consists of:
- 5ml liquid karma
- 6ml hygrozyme
- 1ml super thrive
- PH @ 5.5

We're all caught up now... I am hoping to obtain some clones from a new friend to get this room started off asap, keep an eye out.

Looking great dude! Building a room is where its at. Costs a bit more right outta the gate but its worth it. Everythings looking good dude, cant wait to get some lights and plants in there and rockem out!

Well epicseeds, if your grow skills match your fabrication skills - this should be an excellent thread.

Um - what do you plan on doing for your grow medium?

On a side note, dump that hyrozyme and get some bennies dude. Hygrozyme sucks.

thanks for all the kind words guys! this is a great community - should have made this my new home sooner.

as for the bennies and hygrozyme. i definitely will be using bennies. do you subscribe to the thought that hygrozyme destroys bennies - i was told this is not the case. i got a huge free sample of some extreme gardening mycos thanks to a wonderful user on youtube. he also sent a few other interesting beneficials i'll be experimenting with.

as for grow medium i still need to decide. i have yet to try coco and i really would like to go that route, especially since the bennies thrive in this medium. i despise soil so i wont be going that route. i have always been a hempy bucket user but im afraid the bennies wont thrive in pure perlite/vermiculite. i really need to decide soon! the only thing keeping me from going coco is i do not want to hand water coco and i keep reading troubles people have with uneven watering from the watering spikes. i really like the idea of blumats but liquid karma seems to clog these up.

as for my skill level matching the construction - i'm afraid i have a bit more experience with building shit than growing this lovely plant. i spent my entire youth building half pipes and skate boxes so i know my way around with the saw and hammer :D i only have 4 real grows under my belt which have all gone fairly well. but i know if i come into trouble i have you guys to catch me!

Look who decided to say hello! I am a bit dissapointed with these Nirvana PPP seeds. Out of 10 only 7 successfully germinated. The blueberry and kandy kush had no problems. I really need to address the temperature issue in this room. Temps hover around 60-65F and I feel it is hindering growth rate.

try a heating pad under your trays it should help also your room will warm up once those lights are all kickin it out.
