my medicinal garden, lots of dreams: dreamqueen, blue dream, afghan kush, etc.

Hello all, I've been a lurker for some time but I decided to finally post some shots of my garden. After reading most every other forum on the internet about cannabis when researching various topics, I've found that this place seems to have a pretty fantastic community.

I shot all of these with a D700 and Nikon 105 VR. Some of them are extreme crops and shot at ISO5000, hence some graininess. Furthermore, because this is my free flickr account the pictures are downgraded in quality.

I run a small perpetual harvest. Lots of veg room, a 5x5 tent, and 1000w Hortilux HPS on a light mover. I run both soil and hempy buckets.

I am really enjoying growing dreamqueen/green crack. I picked up the cuts at harborside, and I am really impressed with some of the DHN cuts. However, I snagged a no name afghan kush (pictured) on my flickr, which smokes fantastically, but likes to hermie for some reason late in flower. After two runs with nearly identical behavior I'm culling her from my garden and her clones. It's just too risky, even though it is nice medicine.

I'm running chocolope, green crack, querkle, afghan kush, blue dream, and fire og. With hindu skunk and romulan x grapefruit queued up in some nice hempy buckets.

After trying numerous times to upload my pictures, I think I will just post annotated links to my garden.

awesome pics, great work man

Thanks a ton for the kind words. The original purchase of my macro lens was exclusively motivated by taking pictures of my garden. Sometime in the future, I may post a documentation of my grow room. A video may be better...

How did you make that inference? There seem to be 'name brand' cuts and then random cuts without nursery labels. I'm just wondering how you came to that conclusion.

is your green crack local also (santa cruz)

I snagged the DHN (dark heart nursery) dreamqueen cut at harborside. Seems to finish as advertised at just over 7 weeks. I chopped my last at 56. I don't quite have it dialed in yet to be completely optimal but she is a heavy feeder, explosive grower and really hard to kill. I devote about half my garden to her right now. Really helps with anxiety but a little too much stupor for daytime activity. For that, I have SSSDH and trainwreck, which are both good daytime meds.

I know about the genetics that float through the collective. I'm a patient there and check the clones selection regularly. Only one nursery brings the afghan kush, at least at hhc. and SCM seem to use the white trays

Wow, thanks for the info. It would be nice to know how to avoid this situation in the future. It seems to be a really nice cut, but that hermie problem really pisses me off. In fact, I have to chop on early because I have a huge AK that will pollinate my garden if I don't pull her early. C'est la vie.
