Hi all,

Ive finally done a demo video of the mobile phone controlled system ive been working on the last several months.

Please can you take a look at it...its 30 minutes long but its the only way to explain it all.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXPj1c08LBw

Some serious advice on where I might be able to take it from here would be greatly apreciated also

I am currently working on the electronic coding side of things so it is a lot more streamline and user friendly.

In the video you will see I have used a couple of small dripper systems..These were put on simply for demonstration reasons...I am now designing a DWC system or ultimately I want an Undercurrent system on it.

With the feeding system I am concerned about the amount of water involved i.e if I were to go for a DWCR system for 8 lights I would need somewhere in the region of a 400-600 litre water tank as due to the nature of how the system works it would need to be able to flush completely then re-fill so using a Undercurrent system if I can get the water to move around fast enough this would be its mixing feature so I could use the pots as the reservoir :hi

Thanks

VERY TRICK!!!

if your looking to just pass of the licensing contact a large hydroponics company, like a biofloral.

must have been very satisfying gettin it up n runnin.

Well done! Is there a flood detect sensor to warn of a potential reservoir or pump leak?

■Water Sensor: This is a long sensor cable that is fixed to the floor around or near anything that contains water. Upon the sensor cable becoming wet you receive the text message "Water On Floor!" This is calibrated so it will only detect a flood situation rather than humidity or water splashes. The system has both mechanical and electronic water safety features of which ensure the tanks and planting system etc cannot over fill.

i don't know where yor located but i have a couple buddies in the mitten working on a very similiar setup. they use thermalcouples(spelling?) and 550$ cameras to control everything; just a side note once you get all your coding right and everything it's gonna cost you 20k a year to run/or pay somone to run your server for all this to link into. anyways hope this helps and it's awesome to see several people working on the same projects!! Take it easy brotha!

There are a few OTS systems available, but are $$$$$. If you can get it tweeked, it sounds like a cool system. With some PLC modules, you can pretty much build your own.
