Hi my plants look really sick! 7days ago they looked like the most Healthy plants I’ve ever had but I had to move them to bigger tent and now they look terrible the temps and humidity are basically exactly the same as the previous tent . They were under a xxl t5 and now they are under adjustawatt 720 led on 25%I’m growing in bio bizz soil with bio grow and alg a mic ph around 6.9-7.2 every feed I can’t work out what’s going wrong. They basically looked noticeably different over night and gradually over 5-6 days look awful any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

every feed I can’t work out what’s going wrong.
How often is this? Just asking some questions for more info. I dont really have any idea (or id rather not just speculate) im with Gal though on there seems to be a few different things going on. (Based off the difference responses to the plants)

Well at least every other day sometimes longer I usually pick the pot up to check its weight so I’d be shocked if I have overwaterd them but it is possible I have just reported them all yesterday in new all mix bio bizz soil so hopefully they will pick up but the roots were rootbound but not that bad. Also I saw a drastic change over night when I moved them from small tent to bigger tent and I hadn’t waterd in that period and the temp and humidity in the new tent was very similar to the last one they where in so I’m absolutely lost. My ph pen might be way out but I always thought with soil I’d be ok. Appreciate your reply though thanks 👍

Well you have plan! And thats good : ) I hope they turn around for you. Just a suggestion (i have no idea if this could help) but you may try and get them to the point you think they need water (based on what you are feeling weight wise) and then give them another day and see how they respond? Only do that if you’re comfortable doing so. ( I know heavy dry backs aren’t super recommend and can change the PH of the soil/medium you’re in).

Keep us posted man!👍✌️

bump this thread if you need to also! : ) lets try and get you dialed!

When is a nute deficiency not really a deficiency of available nutes? And when you think it's nutes and you try and correct, you just make it worse. Speaking from past fails. Try letting them get real thirsty before you water again, and when you add water, put it in slowly and only around the outer rim of the container. Like working on a car, when it could be a couple things, you try the easy fix first.

you need to give us more Information to take a decent guess what could be the issue.

Sorry guys just saw your replies. I repotted them on Monday I think they seem to like it but they still seem very unhappy. I’m just gonna see how they respond

I'm reading this post and the most obvious "change" here seems to be the move from one tent to another with different lights?

If I'm reading correctly, you moved from a T5 to LED? Seems to me, that all clues are pointing towards this?

Sorry I can't be more help, I can't say why, but if the plants were super healthy under the T5 and immediately had problems under the LED, I'd probably play with light intensity and light distance a little. It might also take the plants a little time to adjust to the new light?

I came into the hobby well after good old powerful light bulbs. But I have noticed these old lights (excuse me, I don't know the names, halogen?) seem to be much more forgiving than LED's.... If the LED's arent dialed in correctly or your plants are taking in too much light, problems pop up fast. 720 watts is a lot of LED juice !

Note: I have similar problems late flower when I start to increase my light intensity for flower. I'm also only using 100 watts of LED and at times even that can be too much !

There has been some research that suggests nutrient requirements are different for LED lights than for other types of lights. That is especially true for magnesium. So, one thing to try is a foliar spray of water and Epsom salt at a strength of 1 tbsp per gallon. It doesn't have to be foliar fed, but that would be a quick way to tell if that's the problem.

Yeah man ! I haven't used Epson Salts, (I use cal mag) but I see a lot of very healthy flowering plants that do use Epsom salt. I always have a Mag deficiency but am slowly improving. For now, I've noticed that moving my LED's up a few inches makes a huge difference.

I'll take your tip on Epsom Salts for my next grow, maybe its the trick I've been missing... I haven't tried foliar feeding, but I like the idea... This reduces salts going directly into the soil and will hopefully give my plants the mag they need.

Glad you're satisfied with the result. Mg and light are related, because Mg is the central atom in the chlorophyll molecule. So, yes, raising the light could have a similar effect as increasing Mg because it decreases the need for Mg. Calmag, may not resolve Mg deficiency if there's already Ca in the soil or water, because the two can inhibit each other if proportions are off.

Thanks, yep it gets pretty complicated fast when using nutrients, cal mag, etc… I’m trying really hard to keep it as simple as possible without just dumping stuff in! (I bought Dolomite lime but don’t use it as it really complicates matters)

Next grow I’ll try using Epson salts during major growth spurts (mid veg and mid flower). I’ll also try some foliar feeding.

Thanks again for the tips.

I think it's light stress man. I'd go back to your other light bro. The leafs are running from. The light telling me it hurts or burn. Check your soil lvls man. Good luck. Or turn that light down n see if it helps.
