I meant to reply not like that . Using N4 like that jacks a plant if you use enough for that to work on pH level in nutrients.Works for me to help coir users in the medium. I have seen it diffrence going more then 8:1 N3:N4 running ro water.It slows them down.
Just for feeding the plant I like to add some N4 as it seems to boost or help nitrate on the uptake.I run 10-12:1 .JK

10:1 N3 to N4 sounds about right. @Jalisco Kid I was reading somewhere else that N4 coudl keep a plant from stretching. What do you think of this?

I find going around 30% - 40% of N4 causes my plants to gak out.Slow growth pencil stems. JK
