For those of you who make your own soil, what do you use as a natural wetting agent? Or is it even neccesary?

I use aloe vera juice and yucca extract. Necessary is a weird word. I like wetting agents to reduce soil surface tension in order to more evenly wet my soil Necessary no. Useful? Absolutely.

Theres a good thread on here too where GanjaGardener gave the game on all that and a lil more then u asking about. Check it out if u like:

Ivory dish soap works as well.
Cheap easy and natural.

What about Dr. Bronners soap? It's made from hemp seed and I use it with great results for my foliar sprays. I would think the peppermint might help with pests as well. Does it sound safe or has anyone used this?

Earth Juice has a product called "Assist", it's a natural wetting agent. Lasts forever in a fridge..... still have a 1L from 6+ years ago...
