Not too long ago I arranged to get some sour d clones from a fellow grower. They day they came and it was obvious they were not the greatest cuttings but I was basically obligated to take them at that point so here we go...
They were in soil and had been cut 10 days before. They were buggy too... So I asked and found out they were under his deck! outside in Aug with no dome etc...ugh. I thought by that time maybe there was a little root development so I left them but a few days later things got way worse...
So I had to take them out of the pots and look...zero roots on all 6. Re dipped all in clone-x, repotted in coco and put in a dome at 80° 90% rh.. and a week later they incredibly bounced back.
Two weeks later some were ready to top
Only one really suffered some thrip damage before I got it under control.
Just topped the rest last night and gave three a second topping and some super cropping to slow some branches down. (Im too lazy for LST)
So there is the one in the middle who is so far behind and basically left for dead but wont die! Lol She's not on the auto watering so I hand water her like once a week if she's lucky...but I won't cull her just yet...
Running a slightly larger second tent with some Sunset Sherbet babies just poppin.
All in 70/30 coco perlite with GH trio and calimagic. Right now running at 450 ppm/.9 ec at 6.0 ph under 18/6

My auto watering system was inspired by cocoforcannabis.com high frequently fertigation DIY system. Each tent has it's own reservoir, one 32 gal and one 17 gal. They are set up the same with two submersible pumps. One for feed and one for fountain style aeration. The piping for each is different because of the setups but it's the same principle...making sure all your runs are the same length is the most important thing.
When its time to change/drain the reservoir I attach some tubing to the fountain pump and pump it out. It's a drain to waste system and I only run 1 runoff/flush day a week right before I change the rez. Otherwise they are watered once a day 30 min after lights on to saturation but no runoff.

cool looking setup! You might want to consider swapping that clear tubing out for some light proof black vinyl tubing to prevent algae growth. Those clear ones will get nasty.

Yeah man I totally hear that! In my haste to set it up I chose to overlook that fact when my local store only had the clear. Im running with H2O2 and will do my best for now but yeah, prolly gonna have to change that lol

Yo, great job on bringing these back! I am growing my very first plamt ever. I just tried to do my first clone yesterday. We will see how it turns out, wasn't a great cut at all, but I learned for next time. I'm also digging your setup, what are the tan things in the pots, for water?

Hydro halos, yes for watering. Right now the outer rings are turned off until the plants get bigger.

Weekly flush on the SourD revealed a very high runoff ppm of over 800 when I was only putting in about 450. Did a second ph water flush and lowered the reservoir to 350 ppm for this week. I tinkered with the watering schedule last week and I think the medium was just way too dry. Oh well, that's what I get for messin around lol.
A lot of super cropping happening exposing more potential tops. Sunset sherbet seedlings all happy so far with nice tight nodes.

Added a second SF-2000 to the 3x3 tent and removed the drivers. They are now on top of the tent directly next to the lung room exaust

The Sherbert is on day 19 looking good

Two photos of the SourD side by side 12 days apart. Hopefully the transplant doesn't slow then down too much. I want to veg them another 3 weeks at least and really fill the canopy.

So 1 week after transplant I now have some laggy florescent lime colored plants. The color has actually improved the last few days with a reservoir adjustment and a new light schedule. 6/2 three times a day and who knows, maybe they'll love it or maybe they'll hermie...? Ive been watching too many time lapse vids of them and feel like they loose their mojo after 12 hrs and just shut down. I would like to see if I can manipulate that at all. Friday they're all getting some LST happy or not.
Here is a time lapse of the week immediately after transplant, this is under 18/6 The 2 in the back got in 2 days later have been way less happy than the front 2 the whole week
Your browser is not able to display this video.

Im making another video this week to record the reaction to the flip. Then one last vid a week after that before I go to 12/12. Its probably too short a sample size to really tell anything but im too curious not to do it

Color has really improved in just a few short days. I cut back on the calmag and that let me increase a little of everything else without adding ppm"s. The back right plant is still yellow and laggy but very close to some colder intake and reacting much slower so I may adjust that airflow and see how she responds... 2 more weeks till flip. They're gonna be friggin 'uuuge!!
