Im making my own gummies , and im getting better each batch. My question is i make my infusion usind 2 ozs flower in each batch its coming out pretty samn good. I have friends that love them but asked me if i could make them any more potent. I looked up THC Distillates and i think thats what i can use unless there is something else better. Thanks for your time reading my post.

Hey Ironman1122,
I make my own gummies also along with chocolates. I find that if you want to increase the potency of your sweets it is best to concentrate them in canna butter. I use a sous vide machine set at a very low heat at about 120 degrees. The butter then sits in the sous vide bath for about 5-10 hours depending on how concentrated you want it. I then follow a recipe for either gummies or chocolates. You can get a sous vide machine pretty cheap now. Just a thought….. Happy trails…..

What about adding Delta 8 distillate? Can i add this to make it stronger ?

How many gummies do you make with 2 lids of pot. From there it's just a math problem.
Until the amount of ground weed affects the taste.
The only edibles I make are brownies but will be looking into butter and coconut oil.

I follow a recipe just like any other recipe. Infusing the butter in a sous vide machine makes life sooo much easier. So for 2 oz of weed I would use 2 sticks of butter which is 1 cup. Adding more weed to this equation will give you more of a high.

I have never made gummies before although I would like to try someday. It just seems like it could be a mess.

I do however make brownies. Ive increased strength gradually. I infuse oil in a croc pot on low setting usually for 6 hours. Last time I made a batch I used around 42 grams for 3 cups of oil.

These are pretty strong. Which is good because I need less of a brownie and smoking doesn't do it like it used to.

Do you use lecithin? I think that is supposed to make it stronger.

How is the electricity bill with 10h running?
I use lecitin to bind fat to water when making gummies.dont think it makes it stronger.you can use mango for making it stronger.mango fucks up your body soo liver takes in thc better

I make mine in a rice cooker but i wanna try one round where butter is not lost in water and vacume bags probably stink a lot less

I really enjoy the process of using my sous machine anytime I have the opportunity. They have come down in price from what they used to be for sure. Check out Anova. Great company, they stand behind their product.
