Need advice about thrip infestation

I am on week 2 of flower and I have noticed thrips in my coco so I have ordered a pesticide and I have already treated with a organic one but not much success I sprayed plants 4 times and did 1 medium flush but the pests are still there any advice would be appreciated as never had any problems like this in all the years I have been growing I have ordered plant magic bug aside to see if this will help

Thrips are usually found on the leaves, are you sure its thrips? If so spinosad works excellent. I've used monterrey garden insect spray and it wipes them out.

Thanks for the advice Dirtbag yes I know what you mean about them being on the leaves I am just going but the damage they are leaving behind them and you could be right it might be something else

Can you show a picture of the damage? Thrips leave a pretty unique sign they are there. @Dirtbag is correct, they are not typically found in soil. Spinosad will work very well against thrips, but I would also consider citric acid products or Green Cleaner.

Thrips leave a speckled effect on leaves and are not soil borne. So treating the soil may not be the best solution though most bugs do start off at the root zone. Close up pics off the root zone and leaves will help us help u

Thank you for the advice I have currently removed the damage leaves and destroyed them I will put a picture up of the little things as they seem to be very active in my coco just going to take pictures il be back soon

I would look into Root Cleaner or Nuke 'Em as a soil drench. Though you are in veg still it looks like so you could use Azamax or SNS209 or BMC.

My experience, plant therapy has the best knockdown. If u can get some. Then every 3 days rotate between plant therapy and azamax. It should eliminate them. I’d also toss that coco. Replant if possible into new media. I’ve never seen them in media so I’m wondering if you got a batch that is infested. May also have root aphids as the pic is very similar to root aphids. Check for ants, if there are ants in your grow area or around your media, chances are that they are the ones bringing those suckers in. Also hydrogen peroxide works well as a root drench and will kill many types of bugs including any beneficials, 33% solution ( at Walgreens) 50-50 mix with water, and soak the pot. You will need to reintroduce beneficials once done, half life of peroxide is about 36 hours so you can flush and feed after that hold period. Add whatever beneficials you were using back in. Any remaining coco, bake em out, 210dgF 2 hours in an oven will sterilize any media. Note ; do not use the convection mode ! Lol, bloody mess with the fan blowing that shit everywhere. Now I make pouches with foil and do small packets of sorts to sterilize media.
