I'm here in hawaii and I can't find anyone who Can answer my questions ....hoping I can get some experienced answers....

A few things to keep in mind:
1st I live in HAWAII so there's high humidity and high temps
2nd I'm growing in a residential neighborhood
3rd I'll be using pv panels

The usual range of ambient temperature and humidity is :
Day / 82-95℉ and 60-90% rh
Night / 60-68℉ and 60-90% rh
both reflect days and nights with and with out rain...

I'm going to use:
(2) grow lab tents measuring at 4' x 8' x 6' 7" 203 cfm each 406 total cfm (one flower one veg)
Each will have
(2) 8" raptors (two hps 1000 watt and two metal halide)
(1) 8" (710cfm) phresh hyper Inline fan will extract both sets of hoods and tents (however the hps set will have a 8" x 32" filter)
My room I'll have this in is 10' by 14'...
my question is what kind of room configuration should I use... sealed with split a/c and if so do I need additional co2.....
Or can I get away with injecting fresh outdoor air into room and extract exhaust from tent out of room....
Or injecting fresh outdoor air directly into tents with a 6" (315cfm) hyper fan and extract exhaust out tent and hoods to the side of room....
or something else.....any advise would be appreciated
and if you could can u also add suggested components to tie whole room In....like controllers meters regulaters....
much mahalo

Sealed with mini. Your gonna need a hardcore industrial dehuey that drains into something. Also. Use some of that red clay Hawaii soil in ur regime. It creates the best flavors on earth.
Thanks.....do I REALLY need controllers....like a titain panel or would regular wall sockets and timer work....I'm concerned of too much work load with lights oscillating fans inline a/c dehumidifier......do I need co2 in sealed room....if so can u suggest one....thanks again

I would only run co2 in a sealed room. To me if its not sealed what's the point. I use an Atlas 1 co2 controller and just let my mini split control the temp. If u don't have a sniffer of any type how can u tell how many ppm' of co2 are in the room. I can tell u my controller doesn't use much power at all. If ur worried about popping breakers I would look into installing double pulls or if ur panel can't handle the load u might wanna upgrade it. How many amps can u run off ur panel? Long story short, if it were me, I'd get a controller.

I'm sure you have already done the calculations but in case you haven't, you should take you total killowatt hours a month times your cost per killowatt hour and see where your at before you go full speed ahead. You may find that all this fun kicks your electric bill up another $1000 bucks a month more than what you are currently paying. Cost of electricity is almost always a deal breaker for us when we are looking at projects in Hawaii.

Here is a resource to figure just the lights out and the ac are going to be far more, but you could be looking at another $250 a month just to run the (2) 1000 watters and then ac on top of that.

Thanks for the input.....I'm gonna use pv panels though ....elec won't be a problem....I'm peace of information that I'm missing are things like what kind of electrical outlets or controllers with timers, environmental controls such as co2,any input on that would be great thank you

Do you have the specs on the pv panels? it is going to take a pretty big setup to run all this gear, at least the battery storage capacity required is going to be pretty big.

Controllers, fans, and timers are going to be 110v and your going to need 4-6 duplex outlets with 20 amps to each..lights and ac are going to be 220v and your going to need a 220v/30amp dedicated for the ac and a duplex 220v/20 amp plug to run your (2) 1000 watt grow lights
