Crop King - GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS This has never let me down.
USE ONLY spring bottled water

To germinate seeds always do the following and you will get 80%+.

-Place in a cup of room temperature bottled spring water for 14 to 18 hours. Sink them to the bottom with your finger. (if they don't' sink it is fine)
-After 18 hours (cracked or not cracked), remove and put them between folded paper towel on a dinner plate. Add water but do not drown the seeds. They should be touching moisture, air and warmth at the same time. Put into a warm and dark room.
-Apply water when the paper towel starts drying out. Wait 2 to 7 days and plant directly the 3/4 inch or 2cm tap root directly into soil.

DO NOT: Cover plate with another plate, use a zip lock bag, put in a closet or drawer as this traps in cold air and does not allow seeds to breathe.

DO NOT: Use peat pellets, heating pads, domes or rock wool as our breeders and our company tests our seeds daily using the above method.

EMERGENCY GERMINATION: If your seeds fail to germinate, it is most likely that they didn't get enough water. As a last effort, drop them into a cup of distilled water and leave them there until you notice a tap root appearing. When it appears, start over with the paper towel method until the tap root is 1/2 inch long.

Your success and satisfaction is important to us. Please follow the cup of water/paper towel method.
See Rocketseeds.com germination instructions.
Hope this helps you.
Ron

Personally I use oasis and a dome.

Soak cube or cubes with regular bottled water

plant seeds like a tulip bulb so it opens pointing up

tray goes onto dishnet, bell receiver.

This in turn heats to mid 80’s with 100 percent humidity.

Seeds will be out of the ground in 3 days.

No magic formula, no extra handling , just plant and go.

I hate pellets but have used them successfully, put them in a saucer of water til they sprout. Jiffy pods dry out very very quickly.

Yeah get some more going.they dont need anything special at the start..no light just a nice warm place.i would stop misting..if you soaked the media and use a mini solo cup that moisture in cup should last up to 6 days before you have to water them again.if your using a glasss seeds can crack under 6 hrs(sink) and and can b sown at this point without even seeing a tail but i always wait for it to appear..i dont like to keep seeds anymore than 24hrs in glass and the ones that havnt shooted within this time still go into solo cup and 90% of the time they will come up..

Okay, so I guess I need to relax and wait. You are the only person who ive heard who said not yo use a dome! I thought high humidity was key.

For clones. I mean once those sprout the have a root system to pull water and nutes. The point of a dome is to prevent water stress by reducing the demand on the root system. Which clones don't have.

Now they will enjoy a nice 60-70,% RH but they will do fine as long as your not in super low humidity. If using one at min opens the vents.

The paper plate process creates a humid environment, the Ziploc does too. A dome will not be much different.

Smoke a bowl, get out of your head for a little bit and let the plant do it's thing. You're trying to micro manage nature's long proven process

Yeah, you’re exactly right, I’m micro managing since this is my second growth and I love growing and hardly ever use the stuff eve though I’m sure it would benefit me.

I'm just saying relax...Marijuana is a weed and grows like one. No point in making things too complex or over thinking things that happen automatically in nature. Time, moisture, warmth and cover my friend...All of which you have

Longest germination I've had was three weeks until the seed (pre rooted) broke the surface. I planted the seed way too low in this example though.
