ISO Free or Cheap Flowering Light – Hobby Breeder Trying to Keep Project Alive





Hey growers,


I’m working on a small personal breeding project in a 3′6″ × 25″ space and my light situation is holding me back. I’m looking for a free or very cheap LED/HPS light that can get me through flowering.





This is just a passion project — I’m not selling anything, just trying to make a few crosses and keep my genetics alive. I can pick up locally (Ohio/Michigan area) and I’m happy to trade clones, seeds, or a hand with trimming/harvest in exchange.





If you’ve got an older working light sitting in storage that you’re not using, it could really help keep my little grow going.

For a little 2x3 space you can get started with a 250w LED setup (often advertised as 1500w lights) and it'll only set you back about $100 for one that will get the job done. If that's an issue to afford, then considering soil, fertilizers and the cost of electricity, you might want to pick another hobby. Not trying to be mean just warning you it costs money do do this if you're not just putting seeds in the ground outside and if you don't budget for what you need, you're going to be disappointed.

Crap, that stinks. Be sure and enter that Phlizon light giveaway. I've asked on this site on behalf of others when a light was needed in a pinch and there was nothing but crickets and a few comments bitching about the shipping cost of sending someone a "free light."

You might just mention this on a thread called Trainwreck. Let folks know your light took a dump in the middle of your breeding grow, maybe someone will step up if you're willing to share seeds or something who knows.

I have lights I'm in NE Ohio I'll trade you a light that will flower a 2x2 space for a tent... Tbh ide hook you up if you pull up but gas gone run you the cost of light round trip not counting time my dude. That said it's brand new basically and asking for help doesn't mean you can't afford this hobby... It's actually very smart and perfect use of this platform in my opinion... That said my opinion worth less then your burnt out lights. Hope you goals didn't die with light bro. Message me
