Need help identifying problem with seedling

If someone could point me in the right direction, that’d be great. New to the forums. I’m browsing around still. Almost two week old plants and this just started to pop up? Not sure if it’s a deficiency or a pest. One of my other plants had a hole start on one of the newer leafs today. First started out with this. They are in ocean forest. Humidity around 60% and watering once about every three days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks I’m advance!

your over thinking it..
if anything you may have watered a day or two too early when it was a bit smaller.. as the roots fill in the cup you’ll be watering more often, that’s telling you a transplant is needed soon..

I think it maybe just too damp, I’d let it dry back, it’s not a deficiency if you are in ocean forest, and seelings have plenty of nutrients to keep them rolling into veg. And you may want to raise the light.

Up potting sooner than later would be of benefit as well, I agree with @GNick55

if anything you may have watered a day or two too early when it was a bit smaller.. as the roots fill in the cup you’ll be watering more often, that’s telling you a transplant is needed soon..

Crazy quick response. I’m starting to like this forum already. Yeah I planned to transplant them into a 7 gallon tomorrow. Just wanted to hop on any deficiencies or pest before it’s too late. Better safe than sorry. Thank you for the wisdom, it’s greatly appreciated. I left a seed in the ocean forest that wasn’t sprouting a couple days back. When I pulled the seed out and knew it was about rotting I saw some type of mites eating at it? They were longer and very quick. I could see them with the naked eye. I didn’t think much of it but want to be on my A game. Thank you for the reply

Straight into a 7 is a bit much. I’d try to go into a 3 first.

Noted. Beginner grower here. The more knowledge I can gain the better. I have some 3 gallon or equivalent laying around. Thank you for your response man!

Was very hard to tell. Seemed very small. There were about 3-4 of them when I popped the seed open. I killed them all immediately. I was looking into mammoth cannatrol as a root flush. Decent thinking?

Np, reason is, too large a pot for a smaller plant, translates into feed/water washing right past the root zone settling at the bottom of the pot with no roots down there yet too feed on it, and once enough water gets down there, it’s so saturated the root cant penetrate it. So incremental up potting is a great way to go……

Np, reason is, too large a pot for a smaller plant, translates into feed/water washing right past the root zone settling at the bottom of the pot with no roots down there yet too feed on it, and once enough water gets down there, it’s so saturated the root cant penetrate it. So incremental up potting is a great way to go……

Yep I like to start clone or seed in 2gallons (7liter) for whole veg in that too, them directly to 5+gal (20L+) to flower.

I would add 25% coarse perlite to ocean forest because it gets compacted over time, and no nutes for at least a month, its very rich soil already.
