Need help leveling my plant heights! Clone the top?

Hey all! This is my first grow and I've got 9 plants(Texada Timewarp 70/30% Sativa/Indica) in a 3x3 flood and drain table. 2 are growing taller than the others, and 2 are quite short.

The one in the back corner of the table is the tallest of them all, and isn't filling out like the rest. So I think I need to top/fim it so it is level with the others. But since these are going to be moms(regular seeds tho so I don't know how many girls yet) for my outdoor this summer, is there a way I can top/fim it and use that as a clone?

have you considered LST? are you in flower?

yeah u can top it and use that for a nice clone.

Yep you can clone it even if your unsure of the sex. If you dont want to cut it yet you also have the option of snapping and bending the top to slow it down.

So, to review-
These are moms for a clone farm to feed a summer grow?
Tie them down (LST) and branches will sprout all along the main.
This comes from a guy just up hill of you on the learning curve.
But Low Stress Training is one of the most significant clues I have gotten from this forum.

You can do topping, it will also help you to make the the plants bushy,
also the amount of yield will get increased, as there will be more branches,,
just flush with water after topping..
