I know what it means to grow on the cheap side brother, trust me. I'm growing in Cuba, so for me to get a 70$ light into this country means I had to spend another 140$ just to have a mule bring it into the country.

So yeah I'm growing on the cheaper side of the spectrum, but a 70$ grow light will pay it self off 10 fold trust me.

Also when buying a light from like Amazon or directly from the manufacturer there's coupon codes you can use to save a little more, you might get 5-10% off so that comes in handy also if your looking to save a couple bucks.

This is the light I have, I said it was the P1000 I was mistaken, it's this one the V1000 and it's working perfectly for 2 plants currently

Idk it says that's 32 watts and 2400 lumens
Those lights don't have PAR readings or Spectrum charts, so there's no way for us to be able to determine the quality of them for a grow light.

Your better off just buying the one I sent you, it's a good strong light and from a reputable company that has PAR charts and Spectrum charts displayed. They will also assist you if you encounter any problems.

It's 60$ and it's worth every penny for a small personal grow, and you will be able to squeeze two plants under it without any issues.

I appreciate all the help
Dont give up, growing your own cannabis is a amazing experience and will save you tons of cash down the road, Save up a little and try it, you won't regret it.

I'm torn because I would like to see you grow your own, so part of me is pulling towards saying go ahead and buy that 30$ bulb and hope for the best, but the other part is sure that's just a waste of money and it won't get you to the finish line.

Anyways good luck, if you do decide to give it a try down the road then come back here to the forum, we will all help you.

Vipraspectre 1500 2023 edition is producing these, I recommend

Looks like it needs some water honestly. It's very easy to over/underwater in that stage. May not be getting enough light either

Seedling is 3 weeks old and still only has its two starter petals. One is green and healthy the other is growing slowly and smaller also the smaller one's tip has started turning a darkish yellow. But plant still seems very much alive. Any one know what this might be?
using LED?

If you have the LED lights up to 100% and too close to the tops it will stunt their growth.

I've had them pop out of the soil and then curve and then turn right back around and go back under the soil.

They do NOT like LED lights at first, they will do a "turtle" thing and try to crawl back into their shell.

So take your LED light put it about 3 foot off the top of the soil, and turn it down as much as you can...

As you notice the seedlings start to stretch, you'll either want to lower the light, or turn it up. Just a bit.. and then just bump it up as they get more and more mature.

Ok, this is cool as hell, I didn't even know Cuba had internet....

Is weed even legal in Cuba or is it one of those more or less "overlooked" type things?

That's what I did... Instead of buying an ounce or a 1/4 lb... I saved the money and said "I can stand not smoking for 3 months, to harvest 1/2 lbs for free".

You have to give yourself incentive, it's especially nice after the 3rd or 4th harvest under your belt and you got things rolling and then you realize you don't ever have to buy weed again unless you actually want to.

I see nothing unhealthy except time to open. Just draw soil up around it. What light are you starting them under? If you keep light close you won't get so much stretch on the stem. What is your temp? Just so things I have faced. My opinion only.

The first thing a sprout wants to do is to grow roots. So, if it can't, it won't grow well. I agree about it needing better light, but I also believe there could be a soil problem.

Yeah there's internet here, but if there's like a protest the government will shut it down until they can suppress it.

Sadly weed is still not legal, it's a minimum 20 years if you get caught with a large quantity because they will charge you with intent to distribute.

So it's really important not to get caught.

I need it for medical purpose, I have insomnia and a severe case of bruxism to the point I use mouth guards when I sleep. Weed is the only natural medicine I've found over the years that helps me with both sleep and the stress. So it's why I take the risk of growing my own here.

This is the new model light and it works great. It currently has a 20.00 off coupon on Amazon. If you use the link in my signature you should get an additional discount. Not sure if all this works in cuba though. Check out my grow diary if you want to see how well the light worked
