Seedling is 3 weeks old and still only has its two starter petals. One is green and healthy the other is growing slowly and smaller also the smaller one's tip has started turning a darkish yellow. But plant still seems very much alive. Any one know what this might be?
What nutrients are you using? They desperately need h2o.

Can you get your hands on better seeds ? Maybe buy some online? If you can, put the little seedling to rest and get yourself a grow light, I bought mine for 70$ from Vipar Spectra
dont give up on your plant, you may be suprised at the final results. If its a female

Normally this is true but 3 weeks with no true leaves means that plant is a dud. Much better to start over with a very mild seed starter mix and a better light

Dont give up, growing your own cannabis is a amazing experience and will save you tons of cash down the road, Save up a little and try it, you won't regret it.

I'm torn because I would like to see you grow your own, so part of me is pulling towards saying go ahead and buy that 30$ bulb and hope for the best, but the other part is sure that's just a waste of money and it won't get you to the finish line.

Anyways good luck, if you do decide to give it a try down the road then come back here to the forum, we will all help you.
Hey z bro just letting you know I bought the vipar light you suggested. I also bought a tent setup. And ordered some real seeds. Also got a new potting mix with earthworm castings. Everything has arrived but the seeds. So will let you know when I'm growing. Thanks for all the help again broski

Amazing bro, when you set up the tent take some pics 💪🏻

I didn't read all the comments, so this has probably already been covered, @ 3 weeks no true leaves is a major issue. I seen a lot saying the light and that does seem to be a problem. But currently you only have water leaves no real leaves, this seems to be a problem with the roots imo. What type of soil are you using? There seems to be a lot of wood chips bigger in size, wood adds a lot of acid to the soil and can prevent root development. If this problem was lack of light I would expect the stem to be extremely long with the over all appearance of the plant. Doesn't add up. Bad soil on the other hand seems to make a little more sense in my head from the pics and description you described.

It might be the light, it might be something totally different, but my guess is it's the soil.

I know man I can't stop looking at it 🤣 I just worked OT all weekend for 300$. I figured it would save me tons down the road

I ordered some feminized blue dream seeds from herbies.
Your set up is 100 times better than mine, I still don't have a tent, remember one of the most important things to have in a tent is air flow, your going to need a small extractor fan, depending on what size holes the tent has get a little fan accordingly, you only need a extractor for now, that will create a vacuum inside the tent...

You put the little fan in one of the holes, I'd suggest one thats either high up or on top, if you don't have any, one on the bottom will suffice, place the little fan snugged inside the hole to blow air out of the tent, and leave the hole you have in the bottom open, that will create the airflow you need to keep the plants breathing...

Make sure light doesn't leak in during the dark cycle, if your going to have the lights on in that room then, zip yourself up in the tent with the grow light off and and the room light on, and see if any light leaks in. If it does, take up the leaks.

Nah it's my guest room the light will always be off and yeah I got the monkey fans and humidifier coming I didn't know about the air extractor though

Yeah all plants need CO2 to survive, so having fresh air loaded with CO2 coming in and extracting the hot used air inside is a must.

Is there a way to just do that with fans and a humidifier with the laws of hot air raises and cool drops. Like natural air flow or no?

A little fan inside does wonders, but it won't help with the air circulation in and out of the tent, a little 6inch fan in one of the ducts of the tent will be enough.

Just remember, put the little 6 inch fan inside the duct blowing outwards, if it can be in a duct high up better, that way it will blow out the hot air, and leave the bottom duct open to suck in fresh air. 💪🏻
