These white chocolates were cloned on 4/18, transferred to cups on 4/29, then transferred to 1 gallons on 5/19. I’m watering them every other day with General Hydro (3 parts), cal/mag, floralicious plus, and King Crab beneficial bacteria. I have RO, but having been adding faucet water to about 60ppm because I couldn’t get my ph to stabilize. My ppm going in are 500 - 550 with a ph of 5.8 - 6. I’m growing under flex star LED’s in coco. They are growing fine, but the color is lime green and splotchy. I have included photos of the top of my plant and underneath. Thanks in advance for your help!

to lower your ph put a bit of white vinegar in a 16oz cup stir and give to plant, go easy you can allways repeat the process till your good, to raise your ph add a bit of baking soda to a 16oz cup of water stir and give and again go easy you can repeat till your straight, it's cheap easy organic and works at least in dirt, talk to aquaman he knows his stuff im not shure if it works in coco he would know ask him im shure he would be happy to help he knows his stuff. Ps to make life easier buy a battery powered ph meter cheap at anyplace that sells pool supplies. Sorry i could not help with problems but only do dirt.

Ok so forst PH... with RO your just lacking some alkalinity because your nutrients done contain carbonate or bicarbonate. This happening in a res?

Marijuana pH Levels for Growing Weed: A Basic Explanation

In this article, we discuss proper pH levels for your weed plants; alkalinity, soil pH, tap water, and the effects of nutrients on pH when growing marijuana
www.thcfarmer.com

What light do you have and how close?

What's the temp and humidity?

How much of each part are you mixing? Including cal mag and floralicious

I have the flex star led at 12” from top of canopy
78 degrees with 62% humidity
For 10 gallons:
60 ppm starting (I add faucet water to stabilize the ph)
5 tsp cal/mag + 6 tsp micro + 9 tsp grow + 3 tsp bloom + 1/2 floralicious + 1ml King Crab
I will add down if necessary to bring the ph to 5.8 - 6. I will top it off with RO to bring the ppm to 500 - 550

Your gonna need a new light. 9000k spectrum is really off. Maybe part of it also very low wattage

What is the runoff numbers? Ph and ppm

I should have probably said these are for veg, not flower. I’m not sure if that matters. I will check tomorrow my runoff tomorrow after I water. Do you want me to check it right after I water or let some run through, then test it? Thanks again for all your help!

No worries. Catch it all then test. But I would look into a 4000-5000k spectrum for veg lights. Should help

You feed similar products as me but I measure everything in ml so its hard for me to quickly see whats up. I have had this same condition before, but it happened only when I had some type of irrigation error and let the plants wilt somewhat severely.

I mix 60 gallon batches but I did 5 gallons before I had the tank in place. I used RO for a while and now use DI. PH can be a challenge especially if you are trying different things. I keep it all in a grid chart log type of thing and that makes it easy to repeat results. I've never not been able to get the PH right. One thing that was interesting is I picked up a second meter for PPM and the they are 75 apart in the 500-600 range. That was a surprise.

In 10 gallons my mix for that stage of the grow is:

Si: 20 ml / 4.25 tsp
(6.5 ml of PH Down to prepare for Cal/Mag. 1 Hour wait before adding)
Cal/Mag: 21 ml / 4.2 tsp
GH Micro: 42 ml / 8.5 tsp
GH Grow: 42 ml / 8.5 tsp
GH Bloom 20 ml / 4.25 tsp
FulPower: 125 ml / 25.3 tsp
YuccaWet: 29 ml / 5.9 tsp
GH RapidStart: 15 ml / 3 tsp
Hydrogen Peroxide 11%: 29 ml / 5.9 tsp

This puts me right at 600ppm and reasonably close - usually - to 6.0ph. I continue to dial the PH in and I rarely vary by more than .05 from 6.0. But a week later there is drift in the tank that has to be addressed. I just started noticing it.

I run the lights 24/7, watering 3 times per 24 hours until run-off.

So, I watered the girls and it went in at 5.8ph and 580ppm. I did 1 cup of runoff and it was 5.8 ph and 510ppm. I have another plant that is showing a different deficiency and the runoff was at 5.8 ph and 710ppm. I’ve included the plant that was the higher ppm runoff.

Good numbers. Could be a slight mag deficiency but what I'm really struggling with is it looks like they have to much light or heat... but it doesn't add up with your tenls or lights. I've never seen plants grown under 9000k color spectrum so maybe that has something to do with it.

Can add 1 gram of mag sulfate per gal. Won't hurt and it's its mag will help.

Try backing the lights up to 18" and then see how they go over about 3 days.

I read the post about adding the potassium silicate to balance the RO water to 75ppm.

I read the post about adding the potassium silicate to buffer the RO water to 75ppm. Should I use this with mag sulfate as well? Thanks again for all your help!

Yeah but can add the mag last.

Potassium silicate should be added first then allowed to mix for 15-20min then ph down to 6.5 and your nutrients added after that. This is important because silicate will raise your PH to around 10 so after allowing to .ix well you need to lh is back down before adding other nutrients to prevent precipitate.

So, I can use Armor Si for the potassium silicate by general hydro for it ?

Oh and adjust the ph last after adding nutrients also. You will notice a little more overall PH down is used but this will create a much better buffer with less PH drift daily. 0.1-0.2 increase per day is normal. In my coco in veg 5.6-5.8 and a bit higher in flower 5.8-6.0 and like 6.0-6.2.mod flower on. It doesn't need to be exact and res usually lasted me a few days and I just ph to the lowest and let it drift the 0.1 ish a day. If it goes over 6.0 in veg I would readjust it.
