Hey Cottygrower,
I would stick with her and see how she does. I would also in the future start your babies off in a smaller container. This makes watering so much easier on you and your sprout. In this case I would take an old plastic side bottle and cut the top off about halfway down, creating a dome and place this on top of both plants. This will crest a nice humid environment for them to grow in. You probably wonโ€™t have to water as much as well. Keep us updated. Happy trailsโ€ฆ.

Thank you meekly I really appreciate this info. I currently run a humidifier at 70% in the tent. Do you still recommend the bottle trick?

I had a similar issue once and it turned out my light was too far, so the seedling stretched and got weak. I moved it closer and added a gentle fan to help it build strength. I started growing after reading how cannabis ADHD treatment might help me stay focused, so I totally get wanting strong, healthy plants right from the start. Soil and temps look key early on.

Finally growing a bit. Iโ€™ve found out what the issue was. I havenโ€™t been feeding them when I should. Like an idiot Iโ€™ve not give them anything other than water for 3 weeks. Give them some food 2 days ago and already growing back
To normal. Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone on here. Was my first post and wasnโ€™t sure what feedback Iโ€™d get on here. Looks like Iโ€™m here to stay haha

Nice. We are here when you need us. Keep us updated.

Hello! Ive had plants with 1 cotyledon many times (the first 2 round "leaves" that are small). Most of the times they do fine. What soil are you using? I think you should not feed them yet, unless youre using coco but that looks like peat.

In peat soil I dont feed them until week 3+ (unless its a small pot which is not your case), the soil has nutrients youre gonna burn them unless youre using a very, very diluted dosage.

If that is indeed a peat soil it has a lot of coco, more than I would like, did you mix it yourself?

Donโ€™t forget to measure your nutes in and out with your ppm meter.

Couple of things bothering me when I look at your pics.
1. Your hydroton (clay pellets). Did you clean and check the ph on them before you used them? Because they look dirty to me. They tend to absorb minerals over time and cause massive ph swings up. I think this is especially true when they dry out. Which brings me to:
2. Your coco is dry. It's damn near impossible to over water coco. When coco dries out, BAD THINGS HAPPEN. Dry coco has a crap cation exchange capacity and is full of salts which locks out beneficals like calmag and iron and again screws up your ph. It's a lot easier to deal with when you start in smaller pots and then transplant into bigger as they grow. You need to keep the all the media in your pot wet and fertigate multiple times a day.

Sorry mate Iโ€™m retarded ๐Ÿ˜‚ just understood a ppm meter is a ph pen ๐Ÿ˜‚
Theyre not the same. A PH pen is for PH a PPM meter is to meassure how many parts per million (ppm) of anything are in the water. Can also be measured EC (electrical conductivity), the higher electrical conductivity the more PPM they both kinda tell you the same. A PPM meter is used to calculate how many nutes youre giving or if your tap water is hard or soft.
