I'm getting ready to start my runtz autflower seeds indoors while my 4x6 polycarbonate greenhouse is being constructed, so my ? is when I transfer them to my greenhouse do I still need to worry about what alot of people say do 20/4 with the light cycle.is that necessary since it will be in the greenhouse or should I do the growlight till they germinate and reach transplanting stage ?

Autoflowers don't care about the light cycle so they can go outside as soon as it's warm enough. Photos will start to flower if put out too early and then reveg when the days get longer.

You want 80f minimum day and no lower than 60f night temps else they will stall and flower. Start them indoors wait till outside temps in your greenhouse stays above 80f. That's what i'd do if i was so lucky to have a polycarbonate greenhouse and you have windows i hope? Autos just hate being cold.

I supplement the lighting in my green house, but it's really situational. If I was getting enough full sun, I wouldn't. But where I am there is too much shade for part of the day, so I added some. You want them getting on average about 6 hours of direct sun if possible. if not, supplement with some lights during the low sun period. For me it's earlier in the day. and then again for while in the evenings

Luckily it was under 250$

Sounds like a good plan, I just don't have allot of greenhouse exp just yet so wanted to start small first, I actually found the greenhouse at a decent price. Check it out

Yea I have a few prime spots that get atleast full sun and areas I could put it to get partial shade(evening time), but my prob is the wind seems to always blow, not many wind breaks around my house so the only 2 spots to avoid allot of the wind only get about 6 hours of sun

Any experience with tiger bloom ? Gonna start it with mine this week even though already budding but my ? Is should I stick with recommended dose or only half of what it says?? If it says so many oz per gallon ,so do I put that whole gallon into 1 pot or split it up between 2?

Tiger Bloom wouldn't be my first choice because I like a different nutrient line. However, its a solid choice. It has many fans. Lots of people have used it with tremendous success.

Start with half doses. Mix your nutrients by the gallon based on the product's feed recommendation (cut in half). Water until you see run-off. A 5 gallon fabric pot, watered slowly might need a full gallon or sometimes even a bit more. Your soil mix and other factors will determine the amount more precisely.

I'm using foxfarns happy frog in a 15inch pot,I normally don't use no fertilizer, just a good soil mix.i like sticking close to natural without adding too much stuff, inside plants under a light a fan is all

If you don't mind me asking what do you use? Last year I did 1 plant without anything added(just soil)in a pot on my back porch and it did pretty good for not adding ntn got about 6ft tall, might not have produced massive buds and I might not got as much yield but I filled up full almost in 3 mason jars 24oz.

Yea I have the pic of it on here, the greenhouse isn't what it cracked to be,gets waaaay to hot even with a fan,I think one day it was 92 out and it got to 113 in there.i couldn't have picked a worse location though, full sun location, so I gotta order a shade cloth for it,should be good spot in fall(mabey even winter)

So if I have them in pots and tigerbloom says mix with a gallon of water,ok I got that part, but do I add that whole gallon to 1 plant or divide that gallon between 2 plants.? Cause to me a gallon of water is allot for a 15 inch pot,am I wrong??

Just water (slowly) till you get runoff. It’s OK to use 1/2 the recommended dose in 1/2 gallon if that’s all you need. 🤔

Happy Frog isn't intended to support a whole 4-5 month cannabis grow without some nutrient supplementation. Just keep that in mind as you move forward. It's good mix for seedlings and young plants but its not as rich as many other potting soil mixes. Ocean Forest is considered considerably hotter.

There's no issues using it as long as you're aware you'll likely need to feed it at some point.
