need pointers doing my first flood and drain...

so ive decided to try indoor and was told flood and drain was the easyest in hydro. i now have a 4x6 tray 2 1000 watts a heater a pump and a air stone some off the questions i have are, what should my mediam be i have the plants in 4x4 rockwell cubes now? (was planning on doing 2 gallon buckets inside the tray) another is what should the tempature of the water/nutes stay around? also any other pointers what too look out for etc would be nice...thanks :harvest:

rockwool or hydroton are popular mediums. I use hydroton and flood every 3 hours. If using rockwool, you need to water less as it holds water. Nute solution should be below 75

use an enzyme product like hygrozyme, sensizym, prozyme

I dont water during lights out either......1k per 4 by 4 is plenty...a 4 x 6 would be better under two or 3 600's.

your water should be between 65 and 75 at alltimes also are what kinda seeds are you growing? i do 24/7 for the entire veg and than switch to 12/12
