Hi all, I'm a serious noob at growing, and after trawling site after site, forum after forum I thought I had all the information I needed to begin my first grow.
Boy was I wrong as you will see from my pictures below.
So I decided on Hydroponics, and haven't even got that far as I have run into a serious issue already
Germination went as planned using the paper towel method, then popped her into a rockwool cube, that I has soaked in PH 6 water for 24 hours, then allowed to partially dried out. A few days later she popped her head out and seemed very happy.
After she had formed her first leaves, following information I had acquired on another forum, saying inert media would benefit from a small feed, I went ahead an gave her said small feed. That's when things went south.
To cut a long story short, this first picture is about 48 hours after she popped her head up. It was on this day I gave her:-
All half manufacturers recommended strength, PH'd to 6 and was at 225 PPM
Cannazym
Rhizotonic
General Hydroponics Gro
General Hydroponics Micro
General Hydroponics Bloom
This second picture was taken 48 hours following this feed..
After seeing these brown spots, I again trawled the internet in search of answers and am led to believe it's a calcium or magnesium deficency? which may have occurred due to lockout from the feed I gave being to strong or of the wrong PH?
Soooo, I decided to give her a flush with the following:-
1/4 strength of recommendation. PH'd to 5.8 and was at 87PPM
Rhizotonic
CalMag
48 Hours after that feed she now looks like this, very little growth, and still seems annoyed with me
Sorry for the long post but wanted to give as much information as I thought you'd need.
Few more details.
Water - Tap water, starting at 30-32PPM and PH 7.6/7.8
Light - Mars-hydro TS 1000 @ 18" / 18-6 cycle
Day temp - 24 - 25 Celsius
Night temp - 19 - 20 Celsius
Humidity 40 - 50%
Strain - Blue cheese auto - Dinafem
Any and all help very much appreciated.
