Im assuming its the N,spectas cornbread bubba?great score by the way as its one of the best femmed strains out there but there really is no point useing herm seeds
Ya happy B I love me that Cornbread. One of my current favzzzz

Greetings all,
Just came on this thread...I'm not a breeder, but my last grow was TGA's Dannyboy, started 4, got 3 ...all were MALES...one in particular selfed himself and I collected the seeds... one other that selfed himself was a rare C99 male with the grapefruit pheno, and true Sativa structure, this particular specimen started as the pineapple (original) before I cut him down and had the hybrid structure, the plant reveged and was a dwarf with spriggs and tiny leaves, I later planted seeds and got a plant that had the tiniest and thinnest leafs I have yet to see on any cannabis plant, it was almost transparent, this plant in it's grow had the Sativa flowers like old skool stuff and soft grapefruit aroma and taste, of 5 grown, 2 immediately hermed, the other 3 were pure females, this was 10 yrs ago...another selfing male in my library is a rare Hawaii'n indica I beleive to be an heirloom variety, took forever to veg, in this variety the MALES showed quick and grew tall, the females grow extremely slow and short with round leafs like coins then more of the normal leafs, I was sorry I bought only one pack(from Marc Emery) but the last seed produced a male that seeded, gave many seeds out kept a few but haven't grown out yet (this sh*t was THE bomb!!)... Lastly I grew some lemongrass Thai that would naturally hermy, that being said was females that cuts was taken because of the natural growing tendency (@ 3 wks from seed =7 feet!!!), maybe stress could have caused the trait in that grow...oh forgot one more strand a sweet skunk/fuckin incredible male selfed that some in my area (DC )are currently growing are female Plants and no hermies...those seeds were given last winter at the seed share...
All of the above strains were grown with enhanced MH lamps except Danny boy under LED lighting...
hope this may help in bettering and stabilizing a strand...
Peace...

Great Thread JC
I have just enough knowledge or Breeding and pollination to be Dangerous.
BUT I found in my Limited experience is to just GO FER It. What better way to learn than to take
a hand full of Beans 25-50 keep the best and then decide on VIABLE pollen. I hear that keeping in contact with the well known breeders can and will be of immense help.
I was able to secure Girl scout cookies Pollen that is well stabilized..
By being back crossed and f2 to a very nice male..
then
by having that you can be somewhat sure of better off spring.
I am sure others with far more expedience that will have great programs
and full on pollination rooms
but
For me its a matter of Joy and that Happiness in Just Doing what I can
for the fun of it
Now go chuck that Pollen JC and find the cure for the frown....lol
peace Farmers

If Air Jordan had 99 siblings I bet the ranch one of them could have been better then MJ...just saying but who knows the one and only Jordan could have been even better then what we've witnessed growing up with said siblings lol the metaphor can go either way but I dig the comparison.

Lol..in relation to the triangle I had grown out at least 500 back crosses of it and unfortunately none were better is why that metaphor popped in my head like m.j had 500 siblings and all were uncordinated and half blind and hated sports lol.but you are correct and any seed of the same line could be awesome/better than what was previously considered a legend just never know I unfortunately never found a next level pheno so moved on to other genetics the triangle is really good though
A tip of the hat to ya my friend! To move on to the next set of beans can be the toughest but the best move we could ever make.....like moving on after spending ten years trying to stabilize some he/she's or trying to seed some true SIN SEMILLA (which I believe is an infertile clone only) but I'm just full of opinions and hardly any facts so don't mind me. Peace and Grease del Gallo
;^}

I don't know about u guys but I've always been lead to belive that seeds from a hermie will be sure to carry them traits there is cases of hermie getting into the room and cross pollination so from this I've been told that they will have a high fem success but the herm will still be in there so probably no good for breading with 1 thing I have noticed is that strains with s1 in there genetics are prone for me personally it's not worth the risk when there's so many reputable seed company's out there with so many new strains :)
