I have a person that is important to me in my life that has an auto immune disease, and recent studies say that THCV are helpful in these forms of diseases.

I need to know strains that are, or would be, high in this specific cannabinoid.

I know that JTR from Sub has a 5% ratio of it in it, guess that would be a specific pheno though probably. And from what I've seen THCV is only present in low percentages, so 5% is pretty high.

Anyone know of any other strains high in THCV??

Intellect, Hi I'm a legal caregiver and medical breeder.
I have created a strain that was recently tested and they said it was
There second highest thc/thcv combination. The plant was harvested early
So what I created could be a great med. Ill post more info about it
When Im sitting at the lab.

South East Asian Sativa varieties are known to have high THCV content. Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese namely. Also, African Sativas are known to carry high THCV. Allegedly it is what causes the psychedelic effects and gives the racy high of a Sativa. Hazes are probably high in THCV. If you're looking for a strain with THCV maybe instead of finding one with high percentages try a few Sativas out and see which one has the best overall effect. Some Sativas give you ultra paranoia which is not too good. What's wrong with the Ripper?

depends on where its grown and who grows it.. right now high time tested all entries into the cannabis cups here and abroad.. og ghost train haze from rare dankness seeds grown in Denver colorado tested at 25.49% THC. ChemDog cam in second.. pick up Mays issue and youll see the best of the best ... Kosher Kush happens to be me fav and its #7 on the list..

Perhaps start with genetics known for high potency and chop earlyish? Here's a handy chart for cb synthesis/conversion:

It's consolidated from this literature:

I'm sorry this was just a stupid statement..

At the place I work, We had a patient with the some of the same problems your exhibiting are. Our Lab did not test for THCV.

I would recommend an African sativa. I know that sounds wierd but things like Malowai Gold and other hazes (Hazes come from around the world) are your best bet.

Now here comes the sad story, 10week+ Flower times and very testy plants, I personally love them but ehh its a personal thing.

Good luck to you mate,
Chobbs

Confused here.
When % thc (and other fractions) are reported, what are they based on.
Is it % as a function of dry weight (hard to believe) or % thc in an extracted standard?
