The good news is cannabis isn't physically addictive so the worst you're looking at is some mental agitation and trouble sleeping if you don't have any access for a week. I dunno, cruise ship could be dicey, you're up against international and maritime laws. Might be a good opportunity to use the time for a cleansing break.

If you take anything with you, you should store it securely right next to the business card with your lawyer's number, one who's licensed to practise law in whatever destination you'll be going to. There's a good chance you'll need it.

Idk if you've ever been on a cruise before but depending on the ship the smoking areas are slim at best. Bring a vape. I'm also a cig smoker who was packed with flower, vapes and edibles and we didn't touch the flower. There wasn't anyone else smoking it and the boat made it very clear it was against the rules. No one said shit about our vapes in the smoking section though.

This reminds me... Back in the 90's I was supposed to travel to meet my in laws and they frown upon tobacco. So back then I did what you had to do, I went and saw my doctor and asked for a prescription for nicotine gum because it wasn't available over the counter.

So as he was writing up the prescription, old Doc Howard went on about the one time he and his girlfriend decided to take a cruise and she decided to pick that time to quit smoking. She became so bitchy half way through the cruise that it finally came to a boil and he finally snapped at her, "Why don't you go step out and have a smoke, for fuck's sake!"

Yes, this was my doctor. It reminded me of that scene in "All That Jazz" when the doctor breaks into a coughing fit, recovers and then tells Roy Schneider, "You're fine!" 🤣🤣🤣

The usual path for edibles in the body is for it to get metabolized by the liver and in some people it metabolizes differently. One thing you can try is dosing with tincture drops sublingually, and that offers an opportunity for uptake that bypasses the liver. If anything, you'll find out if your just getting cock blocked by your liver.

Depends on where youre going i guess. Ive heard the penalties can be severe, it would reallly suck to get kicked off the ship mid way - and/or actually end up in jail somewhere.

That being said - When we did a short one to Canada, I felt a little more comfortable bringing it.
I had a gram or 2 wrapped super tight and some papers. Rolled in the room and smoked at night on the bow when no one was around.

If you want to be extra careful, you could empty out a portion of a couple ciggarettes, pre fill them and keep them in the pack.
The first hits may smell like weed but passes to tobbacco smell pretty quick.

Here in Ontario (I know, not much cruise line activity here...lol) it's legal to smoke a joint anywhere it's legal to smoke a cigarette. Walking down the street, sitting at a park bench (so long as you're not right by where the kids play...where you can't smoke a cig. anyway...) it's pretty lax. Strangely enough, you rarely see people walking around sucking on a doob.
