I've tried azaguard and lost coast plant therapy to combat fungus gnats and root aphids to no avail. I really want to make a neem meal tea to perform a soil drench. Can I include nutrients along with neem meal tea? Do I need to PH down because I'm about to begin 3rd week of flowering stage? Thanks in advance

Before I got my watering in check and provided air circulation to get rid of a wet growing environment, I used a Mosquito Bit drench to kill the pupae and larval stages of fungus gnats with great success. I never added nutes to the drench and I've no experience with neem.

I keep hearing mosquitoe bits

more than these other products

ive been using an insecticidal soap- jacks something and some garden safe fungicide insecticide and pesticide worked some I think,

definitely killed them on contact but still have the issue. Probably a proper soil drench and tilling over the top couple inches.

I advice you not to use neem oil as it containts azadirachtin which is systemic. I would prefer to use a mineral oil.

The only way I've dealt with gnats is to scrape the top inch of soil around the edges and use fans over the top of the pots with non stop air..not osculating....... and sticky tape....after the top drys well I'll add new soil to replace what I took....I've never had them real bad and the first sign I hang tape or lay it in the pots.

I keep mad air flow over the base of all plants as soon as they get big enough for me to trim the bottom foot bare. On my first grow I saw some gnats, then I put a pole fan over the base, nothing else, and that took care of it. Funny cause long time growers told me that wouldn't be enough.

I actually just bought some neem to use as a preventative on my second grow

I'm gonna be trying the Neem Meal Tea.
I'll give my feedback.
