When you take new cuttings do you do anything "special" with the lighting? ie 24/0, no lights for 2 days after you take the cuts, keep the T-5s further away, etc....

I have several single T-5(6500k), and two 8 bulb T-5's(6 6500k, and 2 5000k)lights that I use for normal veg growth.

I am testing which works better for me..
1. A normal 7" dome for new cuts under 1 T-5 on a shelf.
2. A GH 318 Rainforest under 8bulb T-5 in a grow tent with the mothers.
and would like to know what others do for new cuttings that has been succesful for them...Thanks

also do you feed at half strength? 1/4 strength?,etc. until roots are well established?

I place a thin layer of water across the try to bring the RH up. Dome to bring the RH% to the 90%. Open the ports on the top on day 7. few days later on day 9 i like to feed them. place them back under the T5 24/0 till the 14th day. Then enjoy.

For 1 try you will need 2Ftx4T5 (depending on amount of cuts for light) then place 30-50 on a tray. Dont for get after pulling the rockwool from the bucket, to give it a light pinch to get extra water out. 5.2ph ppm70s

Dig around on how to take cuts and making perfect mothers.
