Hello everyone I am getting ready to start my first ever grow using Hydroponics. My main question is what strength should I use my nutrients at? Or is there a chart I can reference to that is fairly accurate? I've been doing research and trying to figure everything out that I can but I just keep seeing standard feeding charts and I've seen people say they are a bit too strong. I will be using the GH Flora Series and Cal-Mag (all I have right now)
My Current set up is the following
-MarsHydro TSW 2000W light
-36"x36"x72" grow tent (3x3)
-Four 5 gallon buckets
-Hydroton Medium
-6" wide lip mesh bottom bucket lid
-4" 190 CFM Inline Duct fan w/ Carbon Filter

Any advice or tips would be much appreciated! I'm super excited to start this grow and just want to make sure I'm on the right track and have a good idea of what I'm doing. Thanks!

The nutrients line should come with a guide as to how their line should be run. Do u have that? If not I’d look for a guide from mfg.
That’s the starting point, ppl run anywhere from 200-600ppm to some at 800ppm but it’s all experience based off previous successes and mfg of nutes.

I’m sorry for the dumb question, but what is mfg? I have the guide that came with the FloraSeries line but I’ve have heard some people say it was a bit too strong. I was considering just starting off at a quarter strength then working my way up. This is my first ever grow of any kind lol. I’ve done vegetables but never cannabis

1/4 strength is a good base and up as u go till You see a bit of burn then cut back

Don't feed till you have the first set of true leaves and start to see the second.

Mix your nutes, than check your ppms add fresh water to adjust. Then adjust ph, wait 15 min and check the ph.

Ppms should be 200-300 for seedlings
And slowly ramp it up, ceiling tolerances are very different from strain to strain.

Thanks man! I’m super excited to start this grow, I would’ve started sooner but am in the process of moving into a new home and getting everything set up. I’ve got a pretty green thumb when it comes to growing vegetables in soil lol, but I wanted a new challenge with cannabis and DWC growing. I’ve done tons a research but I know I will only start fully understanding better once I actually go through a full grow a few times. I’ll definitely be posting pictures and updates along the way. It’s a pretty budget setup but I think I have some decent equipment atleast for personal use and just starting out

Alot of guys on here spend stupid money on stuff 🙄
They can't even keep a plant alive.......
I grow in a 15 dollar Rubbermaid with a air pump......

Spend your money on great ph meter!

I just used a tsw2000 for this grow and its fantastic! I'm going to swap out my phytomax 2 200 for another one!
