Growing weed is somewhat easy as it’s literally a weed- good nutrients, properly PH’d water and ample light.
Better science and advanced knowledge of caring for the plant will determine a successful grow and also a better grow.
Using an automated system is new for most of us but it’s supposed to make the Grow easier which means less husbandry (work).
Combined grow knowledge with tech knowledge is the challenge that I’m learning. Weed is a challenge but a relaxing one once you nail down the basics and understand the needs of the plant.

We have to fail to learn, that’s how successes are built

It shouldn't matter how any device connects to a router if they are in the same IP address range. Most use IPv4 addresses beginning with 192.168 for the inside network. Those are non-routable addresses. The router is the gateway to other networks. The two WiFi channels of a router and the wired (Ethernet) connections are not separate networks. They're only different hardware layers. The connection speed does not determine whether devices can connect.

I’d love to use the 2.4. Network for this WiFi App for this VIVOSUN tent but without losing the 5G speed that I use for regular internet.
I’ve got WiFi boosters in my house as Verizon has gone downhill over the yrs and the speeds are slower. lag, inability to hold connections etc.
If you know a way to get the best of both worlds by using both networks, I’m all ears

Mine runs both.

Is your modem and router separate or all in one? Is it newer or a few years old? If it's older, your provider might offer an updated modem that supports both frequencies or might offer different "tiers" of hardware.

I would call your internet provider and just say
"I have devices that will only run on 5G and other devices that will run on only 2.4GHz, does my router have the ability to run both frequencies at the same time so I can use devices that require different frequencies at the same time?" If router is not capable ask, "Do you offer an upgraded router that is capable?"

If they say your router is capable, ask them how to activate it.

Thank you for that info, very helpful.
My system was just updated 6 months ago and they added a booster as well.
I’ll certainly ask them and find out.
