Brand new grower here about to start my first run in a few weeks and had a few questions advice would be greatly appreciated

So im just getting into growing and got a vivosun 4x4ft with a 400w aerolight and plan on growing in foxtail farms cultivation natio. 70/30 coco and perlite mix using canna coco a and b, their cal mag agent, i also got canna bloom and pk13/14 and im looking into the feeding schedule on canna’s website and was wondering what changes I need to make to that feeding schedule since I’m not using 100% Coco

Secondary question I also Got five grow bag (5gallon) that came with my tent and was wondering Is a fabric Grow bag like that Too much aeration for Cocoa or Could it cause problems like needing to water way more often etc.

Hey Nate...

I run 50ish/50ish peatmoss/perlite mix with General Hydroponics Flora Trio Series, CaliMAGic, and Armor Si......

With that, you'll be feeding more because of the coco, but I'm not thinking that much more....?....

Proper feeding, when the container feels light....

I say that because that's how I gauge when they get fed......

Your soil is probably dry before you water/feed, which is the best time to feel how heavy/light it is before any water/feed....

Fill one container with dry soil/medium, set it aside or get a weight or remember by feel...

Then fill, plant, water/feed, and weight them.....

Notice the difference in weight.....

Don't let it get to the dry weight, you know, bone dry...not good.....

I've yet to use fabric containers, although it's probably coming soon....

But I do use the 1 gallon plastic grow bags with a few holes in um that let's the plants Breath better and it gets a better dryback.....

While totally avoiding answering your questions accurately, I'm hoping it helps...
