Thanks. I'm an old farmer and just like growing plants! Like seeing pics of others and get ideas on some things.Welcome to the Farm!
I figured maybe end of this week or next. Pistols are curling fast. What are you reckoning, three weeks till harvest?
Are you able to view trichomes under magnification? I use a wifi microscope that pairs with my smart phone. I'm inclined to think that it still has at least 2 weeks and more likely 3 weeks to go. Curling pistils are misleading. Magnified trichome heads will provide you with a better view of where you're at.I figured maybe end of this week or next. Pistols are curling fast.
I've looked with a 10, 20,and 25 loupe. I don't have an attachment for my tablet to take pics on magnification. We've had a cold week this week and supposed to be hot next week, so I figure by the end of next week will be really close to finish. Are you able to view trichomes under magnification? Welcome to the farm ...
Your bud looks very good. No question you have put some time and effort into your grow. It looks like you're outdoors and your screen name suggests you're in the mountains where nights get cooler sooner this time of the year. I get it if you're trying to balance your harvest against nature and the changing weather fall brings. If it were mine, I would let her grow as long as the weather allows it or harvest around the 1st week of October if the weather holds out.I've looked with a 10, 20,and 25 loupe. I'll have to look into one. I'm waiting on the amber, but it's just that anxious time. Early morning has a nice purple hue in the buds, but the evening sun brings out the purple in the leaves. It's just an amazing plant to watch. First purple skunk grow for me.Your bud looks very good. No question you have put some time and effort into your grow. P.S. Wifi microscopes run around $30 on Amazon. I'd consider it an essential tool for your grower's toolbox. Magnification up to 1000X
