Can you give ma an honest opinion I have everything dialed in how everyone say it should be I upgraded the light. Will it grow now or am I just another failureLet's see how things come along. You have a long way to go before you need to train stuff. Lemme throw some guidelines up.
Training. Right around this size.

You will need a lot more vegative growth before you start training
All 3 products are used throughout the grow. All you have to remember are the ratios: 3:2:1 (g-m-b) for veg and 1:2:3 (g-m-b) for flower. You will also need some cali-magic, as GH has always been notoriously low in Ca & Mg.I mix it how it says on the bottle but a little less strong because im sacred to death to lock them out! I’m at about 1/2 strength now and I do plan on buying another container of worms to dump in this weekend when I go fishing! I just don’t want to mess up all the ones I’ve tried to grow indoors always died on me but now I’ve got the environment under control and a better light I’m just gonna take it nice and slow sit back and study the plant learn how to do it better next time
Plant looks good. It's fixing to take off.Can you give ma an honest opinion I have everything dialed in how everyone say it should be I upgraded the light. Will it grow now or am I just another failure![]()
Thank you for the information bother!! I’m gonna just water with ph water because your right the soil is rich in nitrogen! I will follow that schedule! I’m excited and nervousAll 3 products are used throughout the grow. All you have to remember are the ratios: 3:2:1 (g-m-b) for veg and 1:2:3 (g-m-b) for flower. Mixing order is important - Calmag 1st, then micro (blood), then green (grow), then pink (bloom)
I've got to ask; Why are you feeding so soon? You mixed up a bomb ass soil; I would think it should have enough in it to get you through veg, (don't change anything on my account; I'm a hydro grower, just curious)
I used GH (in hydro) for years before making the switch to Greenleaf MegaCrop
It's important to stay on veg formula (3:2:1) until the end of stretch (apx 7-14 days after flip to 12/12), This ensures enough N during stretch. Some do equal parts for a 1 week transition (2:2:2)
Yes they will triple in size during stretch.
Happy growing bro!
Man I can’t wait I’m like a little kid on the night before Christmas hahaPlant looks good. It's fixing to take off.
You now have "the bug".
You have come to the right place to be successful!![]()
No tent yet just a small closet for now but it’s coming soon definitely next grow. Everything is staying extremely stable in there I have no idea how I guess a broke clock is right twice a day!Hey whats up @Dan813. Plants are looking happy man, nice job!!!
What size tent you running?
Thank you!! It was getting dry so I did water around the the perimeter of the leaves and to the edge of the pot until I got about 10 to 20% run off. I noticed the lower leaves were a little droopy after I watered they perked up again and yes that’s what I do lift the pot you can definitely tell when it’s saturated it’s heavy when it’s dry it’s super light. It's your first indoor grow, so i feel u wanting to try everything at once and to be honest i cant really say you shouldnt. Just really make sure that when you do something you can justify on the spot why you did it. Topping and training can get out of hand quick indoors.
When you did all you wanted and finished your grow you will narrow down what you liked for the next one and develop your own way of growing.
Dont worry about watering. As long as you saturate all the soil and let it dry out you're good. Imagine the roots are spread out about the same distance as the leaves above so water at the outer edge of soil dries slower until she gets there and settles her roots. Letting it dry out this way forces roots to search for water at the edges and bottom.
Try lifting the pot with 2 hands before watering, then again afterwards. Its good practice. You'll know real fast when she needs water.
Now if she perks up after a while with the lights fixed higher, good. If she doesnt, keep an eye on how long the soil takes to dry up.
