Day 61

Going to the hardware shop to get the tube i need for the ventilation to the out side.

Two days ago neighbor said that now he can smell it in the apartment. Not only in the staircase 😬

Yes and thanks @MercDod
I have noted your advice and if venting to the outside doesn't work, then i'm going carbon filter.

I just don't like the sound from the fans, so if i can avoid it i will try.
I don't mind the smell. Only if it gets to much for my neighbors.

@amneziaHaze Nah i hardly have any kind of ventilation.
Funny thing.
last summer was first time two of my neighbors asked me about the smell. It was amnesia haze 😃

Day 61.5

DSCI0616

These 2 are eating the leafs by the hour.

Getting closer to harvest.

The milkyway to the right have almost no fresh pistils.

The afghan still setting new pistils but take a look at the colors. Looks even better irl. I hope this ones buds turn all black. Looks like it has a week or two left. We'll see

Another thing.
After rereading some advice i got i might eat my own words. I think i went a bit to heavy with the nutes on the northern light x big bud.
Given the stage of growth there's not really anything wrong there. The feed is a little on the hot side and the tips showed some burn. You're at the stage you want to be blasting them with about 2.8 right now. You're also coming up on the taper so you're going to be backing it off anyway. If you're not getting a little bit of edge or tip burn you're probably not pushing them hard enough. I would guess the EC is probably sitting around 3.2 and if it was pocketing you'd see only tips on upper plant burning.
I should have read this more carefully.
Almost perfect idea of what was going on. Only thing he could not know was that the plant still had a little longer way of flowering.

It's no excuse per say but i got other advisces too but it is my job to translate them to my situation.

Not many leafs.
I'm not sure if it's because they got damaged at a point or what but i give it plain RO water for now, because the runoff looked a bit dark 2nd last time i watered.
The good thing. It gets more light to the buds and maybe easy trim.

It still slow. Never really got started in flowering. Although i did have one looking a bit like this before, ending up with some ok buds.
Ended up looking like this.

The green gorilla zkittlez
DSCI0623

This plant did not get a chance to use the nutes in the dirt and i think that is the main reason it is so green.
To much N in early flower is my guess.
It is also the one with the most soil to grow in, for reasons. Long story

It is now starting to get yellow leafs but still too dark green.

I havn't lost a single leaf and the damage on the lower leafs is from the vacuum cleaner and the leafs touching the soil.

I think it is going to be very harsh to smoke.

Day 64

Milkyway F1
DSCI0628

It has some orange tricomes, but at the same time it looks it needs more time.
I also try to give some tap water to help ripen. An advice i found in here. Thanks guys.

I'll probably wait harvesting until all fan leafs are dead.
The same with my afghan.

Other than the size and the training, this is pretty much how i like my plants.
I think it makes it easy for me to trim and i like the autumn vibe at the end.
The indicas seems to be most easy to get nice colors. Sativa dominant more just get yellow leafs for me.

Thanks guys.
I'm using soil. 3 x 5 gallon pots and 1 smaller pot
Got two quantumboards "220" watt running at 150 watt each
Room 100 x 140cm around 3.5 x 4.5 feet
16h light.
3 of them got nutes once.
Giving the big one some more nutes next time watering. 1 teaspoon dry 20-20-40 in the water. I'm a bit careful with the nutes cos my last grow almost ended with heavy overfeeding looking in the rear mirror. Put them out of flower .....well long story. I still somehow managed to get 110g very sticky but fluffy from one and waiting for the other one to dry before weight but i guess another 110g but not s very sticky this one.
Here is a picture of the fluffy stigky one harvested 12/23 other one harvested two days ago cos it started flowering again and ran 1 1/2 month longer than this one

This was 4 days before harvest Looks bad but tasted good

Yeah ya get aggressive with a nutrient with autos and it can go either way.

If you cause damage by not providing what the plant needs for health it can be difficult to correct given the time constraints autos put you in. To much food causes just as many problems as to little. Its best to keep the food tank full but not overflowing.

I ease off autos on feeding giving them half of what I start with photos.

I dunno...ive always thought autos are half ditch weed and weeds need next to nothing to survive. Maybe these autos just dont need much.

Anyways, I start fairly low. If its not showing me hot tips on the leaf I keep increasing to the amount id feed a photo damn near. I dunno ya just have to watch the plant.

I use Jacks nutrients on them with real good results. Seems to be the easiest way ive found. Jacks 103020, calcium nitrate, Epsom salts, tap water in straight outta the bag Promix Hp.

If it needs water it gets Jacks

Indica kush auto

Still some way to go.

One feeding i gave around 10 days ago gave some damage on the bigger leafs in the middle part of the plant.
I messed up the mixing long story.

That was last feeding and only water since, and to the end.

Thank you @gmonster714 Yeah i messed up a lot starting from 2nd up potting. Stressed a bit, got confused, but i totally get what you are saying.
Next auto grow i will only do 1 up pot. I simply can't make it work with two.
I didn't know that about the autos, but i will remember to go more easy on the feeding now.
Now it makes even more sense why the one got so dark green.šŸ‘
Thanks man

I'm gonna take the half full glass approach on this one.

Good thing is, it is not getting smaller.
Even better is the smell and the stickiness of the trichomes.
Woody smell maybe a hint of citrus and the sticky type, as opposed to the more greasy type.
Not skunky at all.

It's never gonna foxtail but it can still become bud sticks. It still got some time left.

Last, i think this is gonna end up as my favorit of the 4 all things considered.

One of my Northern Lights looked like that too! I must have thrown those seeds in with the free NL from Seedsman. So, it was NL X Big Bud, eh? Mine smelled like mint and unfortunately I needed the room in my 4 x 4 for the new plants so put it outside in the Greenhouse. Still winter here so she's toast. šŸ™

Yeah i'm not really sure. I may have mixed two up during 1st up potting.
Problem is, all descriptions says all my plants are indica dominant. I wouldn't call this one indica dominant.
The plant looks and the flowering pattern looks very sativa dominant, but it remains my best guess.
