Hello All !
I am Loving This Grow stuff!
I got myself a 3x3 setup ( Spiderfarmer with a SF G3000, 6" intake and humidifier and fans) and gave it a go. Granddaddy purple seeds from a commercial grower I met. Got 1 female from the 3 seeds I planted (not bad for free seeds) I used the Flora series 6 part . Just loved the adventure! had a problem with the humidity levels a bit but I am in Bakersfield so ... excuse the poor way the plant may look I am a total newby to all of this "Training" and lollipopping stuff, but I'm learning!!! My first plant should be ready in about 2-3 weeks!!!
I have Orange creampop seeds from Humbolt ready to plant into jiffy puks within the next week or so..I am trying to plan for an "in the tent" dry and start the new seeds in the tent once I get this one trimmed and into jars. Does anyone think its possible to pull off 4 creampops in a 3x3 OR should I stick with 3 All yield is for me so 2 would be fine BUT I would love to do 4 of them if its feasable in a 3x3.

You will need to keep the footprint small but you can do it.
You can also fill that tent and get 20 oz with one plant it just takes time and training.
3x3 is 9 square feet. With 3 plants that 3 feet square but with 4 it drops down to just over 2 square feet and that like autoflower size.

Definitely possible. I used to grow 8 plants in 2x2 tents. Need to start flower early and lollipop them. No need to lollipop with 4 in a 3x3 though, just some standard LST to get the colas evenly spaced.

Personally, I would go with 4 instead of 3 since in a tent with a square footprint they will all get perfectly equal spacing. A bit easier to train that way, otherwise you will have to train the plants to grow at angles away from their pot.

Edit: Possible configurations below. You can see how with 3 plants, no matter how you arrange them, if you want to fill the whole tent with your canopy you will need to train the plants more than usual.

I've used 3gal fabric and done 4 photoperiods in my 3x3. But i'd rather do only 3. Gotta train them heavy and flip at about 6wks. At least this is what i've done and they turned out great. Well done on your first grow. Most the time i do use only 3gal pots, 5gal will take up more space but it's do-able

Thanks for the replies so far. I am sticking to photoperiods for now I like to watch them grow! I was kinda thinking of a shorter veg time this time around. This first plant vegged for about 10 weeks!! (I was scared to flip being a newbie 😆). This time I was shooting for the 6-8 week before flip mark. I am gonna use 5 gal pots. I dont know much about using COCO yet so I will stay with Happy frog\25% perlite,.. for now. I have learned A TON from this forum I thought is was about time to join in.
