Thanks ! Normally they're back on in less than an hour , but we are having heavy storms at the moment.... If it's not back on in 30 minutes to an hour, I'm gonna go buy a 12v live well air pump....

Yeah, working on it.... The reason it's high is cuz I used a little of the water I had with the organic food in it. Looking back , it's for edible fruit/plants. It's just too heavy. I can "see" it floating around in the nute solution... Gonna pull some probably, and top off again to dilute....

Ol , the hydroponic store was finally open so I went and bought more Grow Big , some cal-mag , and some hydro guard....
Made fresh nute solution, and washed my plants. Then I made up 2 new reservoirs. After putting the plants back in , my ppm is 835 in small one and 920 in big one. Ph was 3.45 in both.... Added pH up , tiny bit, and waiting to recheck. Why did the ppm go up this time ? Because I used all 3 solutions at the same time ? Oh this is starting to be a headache. Can't seem to get this nute solution down.....

Yes.... Got 2 5 gallon jugs and 1 single gallon. Enough to make a wash bucket , and enough to fill both reservoirs . Water was 6.4 before I added anything

Ok take RO and add cal mag. Start at 1 ml a gal until you get 100ppm for the system. Then add 6ml per gal grow big. Then test ppm and should be close to 500. Then add hydrogaurd.

After redoing my reservoirs following your recipe , I got my nutrient solution to mid 500's..... Feeling so much better now. My PH stays fairly consistent, hovers around 5.6 5.8.... I noticed last night that the very tips of some of the fan leaves were white/ish .... I new I had to get the nutes right or these two would eventually croak too...
The small one has brownish looking root tangle on one side and whiter looking roots on the other. Will post some pics after I take the kids in from playing outside. The big one looks better. They don't look no where near as full and massive like I see in others pics, but these are still small I suppose.
I'm wanting to flip the lights soon so that these will be "ready" for my birthday in a couple months. I didn't intend on growing these big . This is just an experiment to see if my thumb was green enough to step up to DWC. So far , I'm already planning on going full bore with the next go around. Will be adding a helluva lot more light , and a bigger vent fan. I don't think this 4" fan that came with this kit is quite big enough. My box temps max out around 90° F ... Humidity is in the 50-60% range normally.
Gonna redo the interior with a reflective surface.
Thanks for the help Aqua Man and congratulations on your new position !

No, I ended up eating again , and well, got super lazy.... I'll get some pics today when they wake up for the day. I think I'm more concerned with them being tangled up in a mass than anything. Not sure if it's normal or just a side effect from all the bubbles.....
I'll just post a video later. Cover all of it at once....

Roots are looking good. It appears there may have been some root rot and it's clearing up. The leaf may have been from that it's very normal to see leaf deformation from root issues. The burnt tips are from previous high nutes new growth looks good so I think your about right now.

You can mix hydrogaurd at double dose into 1 gal and pour over the top every 2 days for 3-4 times. This will clear up any root rot in the hydroton and help rinse any salt accumulation. Next water change lower the water level to about 1" below the bottom of the net pot.

An inch below the net pot ? The instructions that came with it said to keep it half way up the center cone.
So they won't dry out being exposed? Oh , well I guess they're getting wet..... Face palm.... Ok well I'll let these go for a while before I add any straight RO.... And I'll add the 'germs to it to wash as I refill.....
Thanks for the help !

Hey you need to change your first name to Imda ......my babies are looking great thanks to you! Not to mention actually growing again. I'm getting about an inch in height growth daily..... Little one has been stuck at around 10" tall and 13" diameter. In 3 days , it's now 13" and 16"+ in diameter. The big one was stuck at 17"-18"....and 12" diameter. It's now pushing 21" tall and 16+ in diameter.....
VERY pleased with the results again.... Thanks again Aqua Man..... This is your handy work..... I'm greatful for the knowledge you have bestowed upon me...
Going to change light cycle now, to go into flower mode. I still have to make a light seal for my door, but that is fast and easy.....
Do you have an ancient secret recipe for the fruit stage nutes ?
