Hi, My name is Sam, I am in my 60's and have been growing indoors, hydroponically, for over 10 years.

I use the 16 gallon utility tubs you can buy everywhere, I cut holes in the lid where my plant cups go. The tubs stay full of water all the time, they have aquarium air pumps as well as small pond pumps continually aerating the tubs. The tubs get flushed every 4 to 6 weeks. I use the Advanced Nutrition Grow, Micro, Bloom chemicals throughout the life, adding Big Bud during flowering. I mix the chemicals at 2 micro liters per liter of water.

In my area I have found that a mix of 6 gallons of distilled water, then fill with tap and add nutrients is how I get started, and how I flush the tubs. I check the pH daily, striving for 5.5 - 6.0 during veg and 6.0 - 6.5 during flowering. I top off the tubs about twice a week, always with tap water, always with chemicals added to it.

I almost exclusively use clones. I have three distinct chambers, one or two plants each.

Sam
