New to growning

good morning, I just received my Medical license here for Illinois, I have seeds and would like to start just a small 2 or 3 plant grow in my basment. Do u guys have any advice as what soil, nutrition, lights and maybe a small tent to put together in my basment. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone havena great week!

I like hid lighting, but im sure some will suggest led. Probably wait around to see what people suggest. What size are you wanting to use? What is the temperature in your basement? Any specific budget you need to adhere to?

Thanks for the quick response. Honestly temp in basment is steady around 68 to 72. Money is a concern again this is my first time so just want to get it a try. I have found some of the smaller tents on Amazon I would like to try. Maybe 300 at first to be honest.

Spend the money on your lights. On a budget, then maybe look at KingBrite QB boards on Alibaba.
