Okay, I took the Purple Gazzurple dry sift green stuff leftover after I dry sifted and added 99% ISO to it to see if there was anything useful left after the dry sift.
Added approx. 12 oz. ISO to approx. 2 cups of dry sifted, sift. Put it through 5 coffee filters and cheesecloth and there was still sludge in the bottom of the bowls. I put them in the dehydrator and am letting them off-gas on the unheated porch and then figure what to do with it all afterwards.
Oh, and I've had my 'cookie' and a couple beers, so if any of the above is non-sense-ical just let me know. LOL

Not quite sure what to do with it now .
The light color bowl is the cleanest, and the other 2 have particles of plant dust that kept going through the coffee filters. 5 of them!
Thinking of washing the 2 dark ones with more iso and putting it through another filter.

I'm surprised that the coffee filters let that through, mine comes out clean as a whistle

Paper coffee filters are between 20 and 30 µm! I think you’re gonna have a tough time finding something practical, that is smaller than that! Maybe doubling up on the filters? Might just be stuck with the sediment! Maybe Nick to the rescue! I seem to remember Nick doing a certain amount of decanting also to get rid of the sediment.

Thanks, that makes sense. The plant material was very dry when I sifted it and I may have worked it a little too much. I put 8 layers of cheesecloth and a coffee filter on top of them to try and filter it all. Each time I do it, I know some of the tric material is being lost each time I filter, but I don't know what else to do.
Wait, I'll look on Amazonia. LOL

Let me know if you find anything, I was unsuccessful. It already takes forever filtering through coffee filters, I dread to think how long that would take though through something finer.

Ya, I stood there and jiggled the sieve alot, then I tipped it to a clean section of the filter, but it DID take forever. Maybe I'll just be content with the dry sift and toss the chaff.
(after I look for seeds. LOL) (like I need more seeds. LOL)

Not a remedy for your current situation but for future endeavors these things come in handy. A bit more of a laborious process but for someone with time on their hands and likes keeping busy with projects it can be cool.

ok so that dark stuff is sediment that passed through the coffee filter?
dud you change the filters while filtering or just one? did you try to help it filter faster?
i think coffee filters are 10-15 microns,

I did change the filters, 5 times and each time the sediment was less, but still there. I finally gave up and evaporated the ISO.
We use the filters for our morning coffee, but they're from Sam's and we like strong coffee, so they may not be as good as I need.

I have had great success with the grocery store, reusable stainless coffee filters. Really not sure on the microns of them

Thanks Marty, but I dry sifted the flowers to avoid bubble hash making. You see, I don't smoke and a little sediment is fine by me, but I would love to have a clean product.

ok so i may run into this issue as well with taking the stuff from the table after sifting and gonna see what i get,, though if i have sediment that i can’t remove than ill let it settle to the bottom and than i’ll pour it out slowly trying to not disturb the sediment or until the sediment is getting close to coming out,, than ill evaporate it off and see/test whats left,,

I did notice the sediment staying on the bottom of the bowl, so I tried to pour it out without disturbing it. Kind of, sort of worked but I was impatient and just dumped it all in thinking the filter would catch it.
Need a tall narrow container to keep the sediment/dust out of the ISO.
