I have a similar setup. I am exhausting outside and I have two 4" intake inclines going. When I closed tent my temps were rising too much as well. They needed more air in, so I opened a passive flap on the bottom against the wall. Air comes in but no unwanted light. This did the trick. I have the same temp controller you do.As of now I’m at 63-66% rh and 82-83 degrees. I can’t lower temp anymore than that without dropping the humidity. Any tricks of the trade to help me lower temp a little? I kind of feel like I need more airflow but I have a 5” fan hooked up to a flex blowing in constantly. It has been warm the past few days so im sure once it cools off I’ll be fine. I’m just putting the sprout in soil tomorrow and want to make sure I have a plan if temps rise. View attachment 1296641
Day 10 of seedling. Bumped it up to 14 dli. I see a root sticking out of a drainage hole so I’m going to transplant to a 3 ga. Fabric pot later today.View attachment 1299911View attachment 1299912
Thank you for your reply. Yea that seams to be the only way I can keep it cool enough is to open the door a crack. I just realized that my intake was sitting next to the heating vent. So it was blowing hot air in. Once winter sets in I should be good it’s just been too warm outside the past week.I have a similar setup. Appreciate it. I tried searching but I suck at finding the right post. I end up reading 10 posts about stuff im not looking for lol. This one was just what I needed thanks again. They might have some guides here how to do it.
For lst I use clips but there are other ways of course. I like a scrog better though. It makes training easy.
As far as clips, if you do get some, get the ones that are adjustable instead of the ones that aren't.
Actually this is too much to type on phone

Solo cup to 3 gallon pot in coco/perlite lessens the stress of transplanting twice to achieve the same goal, I allowed 1 more week from the pix shown & had roots all around the solo cup,Cheers SS Lookin good.Good to know. When do you think it will be strong enough to transplant? I was going to go straight to my 3ga pot a week or two into veg but now I’m thinking about doing a 1 ga pot first then transplant to a 3ga any thoughts?
An easy start could be to use two wires or pieces of string.Day 13 of seedling. You can kind of see on the center leaf of the second set, the edge of the leaves curling up. I noticed it yesterday and raised the light to bring me to 13 dli. It doesn’t look any worse today. I also ran out of water in my humidifier yesterday which dropped rh to 38%. I don’t know how long it was like that since I was at work.Probably 4-5 hrs. Other than that it’s looking good. I’m looking for advise on lst. I’ve never done it before and don’t know when I should start. Any tips are appreciated thanks View attachment 1301036View attachment 1301037
That was a little early for the transplant, try 2 week in the solo cups. If they look like that in 13 days let it go 3 weeks in solo. SSDay 13 of seedling. Yea I wanted to wait a little longer but I screwed up and only used a small solo cup to start.(9 oz). I had roots coming out of the drainage holes so I couldn’t wait any longer. Now I know for next time to use a bigger starting cup. That is perfect. When the roots come out is when you transplant.Yea I wanted to wait a little longer but I screwed up and only used a small solo cup to start.(9 oz).
