Hey guys, thought I would share my foul-up that Just happened. I am exactly 2 weeks into 12/12 and was just tightening up some of my tie downs to get more light through middle of the bush.

No gore pictures as I reacted with some super glue as fast as I could.
Hopefully super glue is an okay substance to use.

From where the wire is tied around the base to the top. 2 upper branches split right down the seam. Oops

If the superglue holds i would take the wire off. Might girdle the plant.

im sure the glue shouldnt be too harmful. i have taped a plant together when a similar break happened to me years ago

Most superglue is made from "cyano acrylate" which is actually made from algae... take a look at the ingredients on the label and if thats what it is i am sure it will be fine... I use duct tape but now that you mention it superglue may even be a better solution

Thanks Jaguar
I pinched the branches together and applied the superglue liberally on the outside of the break, in hopes of not stopping the plant from healing itself.

I will post updates in the coming days to let everyone know how the superglue works
