Was up farmers. This is my first post.

I plan on growing some plants soon for the first time and I started thinking about something that got me curious, so here's my question:

Growing from fem seeds and just taking clones so that I won't have to be buying seeds, I read that it's ideal to take clones right before switching them into the flowering stage. Now here's the question, if I cut those clones right before the flowering stage and they grow roots in about 2 weeks, where would I put them once they're ready to go into the vegetative stage if the lights are still being occupied by the mother plants who have yet to go through a couple more weeks of their flowering stage?

This is a pretty simple question to ask, I mean you really should be able to think this through. But since you are new...

Your gonna need some lights (florescents) to root the clones. Once the clones are rooted, you can put them into the medium of your choice, raise the florescents a bit and just veg the clones under them until the room becomes available.

Easy peasey...

If you want to run it like that, veg your mom until shes got plenty of branching. Snip cuts, say 4-5 and put them in some rapid rooters, humidity dome, and spray em (pretty simple and failproof)... get em rooted in a week or two and then just flower the mom once they are rooted. From there veg them all out, flower say 4 of the 5 and use the 5th as a mom for cuts for the next round or two or three! Good luck bro!

Yeah, I though about doing that same thing and just let em' sit under the fluorescents until the other plants finished flowering but here's the thing. I kind of wanted to start vegging those clones as soon as possible so that the next batch can come quicker. But since the mothers are still under a 12/12 schedule and the clones need a 18/6 schedule I can't put em' together obviously because of their different light schedules & space limitations. So here's my next question:

Is this why some growers have two separate rooms, one for vegetation and one for flowering, because I might consider this idea?

Yes. 2 rooms is a real good idea. Veg and Flower. The veg room is for moms/clones/vegging babies and the flower room is for flowering. There's no reason you can't have cuttings timed to fill the flower room asap after harvesting the current plants.

hi i got 2 rooms my veg room has 8 fluorescent and my flower room has a 400/hps it works good my clones are under 4 fluorescent at 24hr look at my pics
