Newbie Grow in Coco + Perlite in pot

Hi everybody lovely to be here.
this is my first grow.
It is 1 clone gifted.
It is over a month old
It is brunnings coco that has been washed and perlite added and given 1/4 strenth Nitrosol and a little molasses
Question: Is it ok looks light green at new growth but seems to be going darker towards the outside is this right?
Thanks in advance

From what I can see you’re doing just fine. Keep on doing what you are doing. Keep us posted, love to see how these ladies turn out. Also as a side note I would suggest maybe doing some LST on them to get some more colas going.

Thanks for the replies guys was just worried something was wrong as thing went a little wrong already.
when it was re-potted it started showing pistols, read that it was cause it was a clone from a mature plant.
Turns out it was going into bud so i put it in the garage when the the sun went in and left a daylight 24w clf globe on all night for 5 days then some leaves came thru smooth edged so hopefully reveged and on its way to being ok.
its going outdoors it gets watered about every other day till runoff, use the finger in till first knuckle to feel for damp.
Also have tried a little lst but not sure what i am doing so just interpereting and implementing what i can find on the Net.
also tried topping but the nodes were all staggered after 3rd node so not sure i did that right too HaHa
so little bit of a hit and hope, so thought i would join up and ask an actual person
Thanks

Welcome to the farm! The light green new growth that then darkens is perfect, your plant looks very healthy; good job!👍😎

Thank for the replies and welcome guys.
There has been an update
Is she flowering?
Or gone hermi?
Cheers

Based on the picture you provided, I do not see a seed sack at this point. I would keep a close eye on this one and keep us updated with pictures.

Hi, it looks fine. Are you growing outdoors? What’s your feeding schedule? What nutes are you using? Have you tested the ph of your H2O going in?

hi mate
Thanks so much for the reply.
Yes growing outdoors.
feeding twice a day with with 30ml of nitro-sol with 10ml sea-sol and 10ml molasses in 9l rainwater
don't have a ph meter yet
there is some weird leaf growth

That is very weird! I would definitely get a ph meter and a meter to measure your nutes. You may be over or under providing nutes to your plants.

Hi mate Tested water ph (rainwater) it was around 7 with a simple drop test
Nutes going in looked darker
Will adding a little lemon juice be enough to fix it
Cheers
It's more of a 4 coming out?

Rain water ph too high. You need to shoot for around 6 ph. Lemon juice is for ph not for ph not for the nutes. You need a way to measure water in and water out on your nutes. There are inexpensive meters to test for nutes. Check them out on Amazon.

I would still check all of the above as it pertains to nutes and backing off on your ph levels. The light could be an issue…. My guess is your problem lies deeper in the soil.

Those leaves are from revegging. Weird, huh. If your plan is to grow her larger keep her under light 13+ hours a day. If your goal is to leave her outside with less than 12 hrs of light she'll flower.

For future reference, when growing in coco keep the coco wet by watering (actually fertigating as each and ever watering should contain nutrients) 3+ times a day with 10-20% runoff. Yeah, you can get away with 1 or 2 a day but the plant won't grow as quickly or reach its full potential. And always use hydro nutrients. For young plants, 1-3 weeks old (applies to young clones as well) use half strength. Up it to 3/4 strength for a week or two and then use full strength. Once the plant is flowering, about 4 weeks into flower cut back on calcium by a half.

Growing in coco is one of the best growing methods as long as you can fertigate the plant(s) 3-5 x's a day and you can deal with the waste water. You can grow 6-8' trees in 1-2 gallon pots😉

Are you placing that outdoor plant in direct sunlight for more than 13hrs ? Looks like possible reveg and not enough light.
She lives outside
And there is 15hrs 22mins sunlight where i am til feb
I also think i planted a little low and did put a little coco on top
Didn't know what else to do

Yeah, I thought so. Almost mentioned it but yeah, time to grow her out. You can't over water (fertigate).

Spot on mate
Not native myself
How would i cut back on calcium only
And i think this is the second time she has revegged i think she went into flower after transplant and i left her a couple of nights under cfl lightbulb and she started to grow again about 2 weeks after
She is about 8 weeks old
So you think i should water 3 times a day at full strength?
Cheers

Hi all Think i did something wrong trying to correct ph.
Please help.
