Hello to all.
I' Danny I'm 34 UK.
First grow.........complete novice.
Done lots of research on coco.
So here' my first grow set up.
Very small tent 40cm 40cm 140cm.
Anyway......Coco coir plus Canna
Perlite added.
Canna nutes range.
125 cfl
45 watt led full spec panel
6.2 run off water ph
No call mag added yet as got none.
9 days old the bigger one.....other 7 days. Just growing some bag seeds.
Appreciate any advice help and glad to be here !!!

Hey, good luck with your grow. I also just started in coco and i would like to share with you my mistakes to give you a heads up.

Coco must always kept moist, NEVER LET IT DRY OUT, our you will encounter many problems.
When the roots become the size of the pot, water once a day with runoff.
Most people use drip systems, drain to waist. In flower there is who sets 5x a day feeds.
Nutrients in every feed.

What nutrients do you have?

I second what @AlbaNinja84 said before. Coco really has some potential just follow some simple guidlines then find your own style you come up with.
Always keep coco moist like said...
Feed with every watering. No plain water.
The more feed/waterings you give the more oxygen gets to the roots which means more growth. In a 2-3 gal pot 1–2 feedings a day will be fine.
Ph at 6.0. Imo 5.8 is optimal but setting your input at 6.0 gives you a little buffer each way while you get the hang of it

Cal mag has arrived.
I have noticed one of fan leaves is bending upwards at base near stalk.
Do I need cal mag??
Never measured my ppm etc not got meter.
Do have ph.
First grow !!!.......forgive me!

Cal mag depends on your water.
Maybe best not to use it unless you have first signs of deficiency.
Canna mutes have a lot of calcium if I remember correctly.

In future I would recommend you getting feminized seeds. You risk throwing a way a lot of time for nothing if you get a male.

How much nutrients are you using?
What is the temperature inside the grow box?
Humidity?

Just got some calmag incase need.
Don' know humidity or anythinget I may buy a meter I'd just say ito nice at moment obviously hard to say.
I did transplant this bigger one 5 days ago or so because it was in a see thru plastic cup.
Could see roots at side and wasn' packed well.
But Yeh the pictures say a lot I suppose I'll just keep posting and thankyou for your time.

Your using way too many nutes.
Drop it to 1ml a + 1 ml b. Rhizotonic should be ok.
Buy a humidity and temperature sensor.
It’s 10 pounds.
Also judging by the size of your box and your lighting I would only keep one plant.

Never use see through cups.
Your using way too many nutes.
Drop it to 1ml a + 1 ml b. Probably even less. Rhizotonic Is ok.

Raise the light until you see the leaf praying and reaching for the light, right now it looks like the leaf's are trying to hide from too much light, also notice the edges of the leaf rising up, that's the mag issue too much light causes, and notice how the plant is miniaturizing... You know young plants like that don't require more than 50 watts of light so if you have more then you must raise the light.

Hello to all again.....got some picd of this plant in 6 or seventh week of flower.
Advice needed to when I harvest.
This id first plant and ive lost track of where im at !!!
