Next Round Starts Aug 1

I grew a kushy kush in the back yard last year and it was great BUT i didnt cure it well and it was good in vape and hay like in a doob. I have one on the deck this year. A 4 top beauty and I am leaving it there. I might transplant to a 7 gallon pot but we are awful close to the changeover to flower. and it is a 6 to 7 week flower. :)

I moved them to the tent today. Solocups were full of roots. Niw they have 315bcmh light

Transplant is starting to take shape. They reallly dwarfed in the solo cups. I think I will start in 1/2 gallon pots from now on so the plant can develop faster. The temp with 1 315 is great. After 10 hours it hit 80 degrees. The MCOB was more like 88. I turned the tap on this morning for the bottom feed. I will top water 2 more days and let it rip.

one other major change i made was making 2 intakes. Both use 4 inch vent tubes with a giant sock on the end to stop flies and shit from messing with my babies. I checked on the girls today and I think they all doubled in size. They love coco and perline in these autopots :D

I will not check on them now for 4 days and see if i have to top up the reservoir

The plants broke surface July 30 so i am starting from that date.

day 29 pics. 4 weeks in veg.

Once they hit the bottom of the pot and start getting fed they start growing. I did the last topping before I flip them in 1 or two weeks depending on how they fill out. I want to keep the air flow under better control. At the present rate of growth i think it will be 1 week.

They are still drinking the 600 PPM water in the reservoir.

The 315 is cooler than i expected Running in the 70s when it has been on for 8 hours

The growth is now explosive. And they are drinking the reservoir faster. That will make it easier to transition to flower with different nutes. :)

Sept 1...I flipped to 12/12 today. They were 12 inches tall on Wednesday and 16 inches tall today. I got rid of the larf and switched to a transition nute
4/4/4/2 (grow/bloom/micro/calmag)
1.5 floralicous plus
PPM 650 and 5.8 PH.
And they smell in veg. I think sour kush is going to be a smelly one. I can't wait. I mixed them up so many times now I can not tell which is white widow but a few weeks in flower it should be easy to spot. :D
3 plants was perfect for this light and I could have made 2 work with another week or so of veg.

I am putting the dehumidifier in the tent. The light is off and i am in the 62% RH range and i am not doing PM again. I can run it with a hose overflow and get it at 45 until late flower and then cut it down again. And it will get the temp a bit cooler. Perfect timing for flower. :D And I am doing 12 1/2 light and 11 1/2 dark. I will take anything I cna get.

I counted my beans and i have 51 beans left. 51/3 = 17
17 X 16 weeks = 5 years of growing.
Ok no more sales will tempt me for a while. I have seeds a plenty :D

31 inches tall on the sour kush white widow is a little shotter. Humidity 55 to 65 percent.
Fresh water and nutes added.
Bloom micro floralicious
8 5 2 per gallon. Stretch should be over buds are looking budly

Sour kush is 4 to 5 feet from the seedbank. Well that makes more sense. I hope the stretch is over. The light cant move up much. Wow are they growing. A wee bit if tip burn but i hit them harder with nutes than in the past. 3 plants was the way to go and with 60 % humidity the fans are keeping pm at bay. 3 decent sized fans one for each plant.

Had to top up the reservoir today and I have a better TDS pen (waterproof).

Those are some real nice looking girls you've got there. Chunky colas to be had indeed.

I all too often wind up growing a million damn tops from trying to keep height down from not being ready to move them to flower yet and wind up with a ton of smaller buds. At least they're all tops so they have little trimming required and are all rock hard.

Will definitely be following this to see what comes of it.

This is really a test for me of the 315 CMH light compared to my 550 watt MCOB. Next round I will probably run the 315 with the mcob at 250 watts and move the reservoir out of the tent and put all 4 of my autopots in use. I am going to do 2 train wrecks and 1 sour diesel and 1 jack herer. It is tough to fairly compare the lights when I have learned so much. I am always learning but I mean about air flow and humidity etc. Sour kush is one of my favorites of all time as is jack herer. I have a feeling I will love train wreck. Then the next round is all short bushy kush :D
