At it for over a year now and Im very happy with all that I have learned on my own and from the farm fam! I wanna work on bag appeal and I’ve been dealing with spider mites for 3 months now. I’ve gotten good at managing it but with 50 plus plants rolling I’m tired of the nuisance. I want my clean space back.

1) I can’t sulfur burn my two rooms
2) I have used Predator mites and multiple sprays, high humidity, and high airflow that improve things about 95%

Questions.
I wanna quarantine my 12 strains in a tent in my bedroom while I shut down the basement. Gonna deep clean obvi.

Won’t the basement shut down for like 3-4 weeks kill everything?
Will I be able to clean up my genetics with sulfur burn in my tent or extreme care for 3-4 weeks?

Once spider mites have colonized a residential zone it is next to impossible to completely eradicate the little bastards.
An egg can lay dormant for years, when the time is rite……boom! I’m alive!!
Your on the rite track though, I would follow through with your plan.
Then weekly maintenance you will need moving forward.

You can only maintain there existence at this point.
Get a grow shed away from the house. You can beat them in there. Build it like a clean room and you can completely be done……..until the next time.

The 2 safest products on the market you can use for mites, thrips and PM.
I use both in my regiment.

I can’t stress how good neem oil is for treatment of spider mite..takes care of the mite and the eggs… can be applied as a foliar feed which will effectively be a kill on contact insecticide that will stop mights having the ability to eat and reproduce…also when given your plant a neem oil soak (feed) the plants will uptake Azadirachtin which will work as a systemic insecticide for your plants and an added bonus if your a more natural grower is it’s an organic method but I’m more of a what works the best kind of guy and this is my go to.. no chance am I paying extortionate fees for these specialist treatments that are 10x price because it’s aimed at us growers sorry for rant 😂 hope advice helps if you’d like to know dilution rates etc I’ll pull my trusty bible I’ve put together over the years 👍🏻

Habanero spray is what I used to use,
But time is money, it works tremendously well.
Kills on contact mites and eggs.
But be careful, use ppe if you use this. it’s like mace to humans and animals

I see people buying dr schimmel at stores for like £15-£20 for 25ml when I’m convinced it’s PV a product that just disappeared then this appeared at 20x the price smells and looks exactly the same… used to be another method to get harkers pigeon mite treatment and it would destroy Borg mite but need a prescription for it now here in Uk ☹️
