@Canappa bro no need to shut it down. just burn some sulphur and it will go away. It's still early on. you can also do preventative burns for 10 minutes when you see the humidity is going to be super high.

Thanks for the info ,Funny thing is I took the 3 down that where infected but the rest look great? I will see what happens over the next few days found the source to my humidity problems too. the gutters where wrapped with panda film and with 68 degree water temp the out side of the gutter is room temp 72 the condensation built up and water had no where to go. I also took that shit off. I will keep you in mind if the problem continues. but I think the rest loompa girls are mold resistant ? I hope humidity is 45 right now also

once there is pm in the room the other girls have been exposed, and might show visual pm later. I would burn sulphur anyway for atleast one hour, and keep on truckin. Sorry to hear about this, but this can easily be resolved, please don't pull the other girls down. I've had problems in the past when I only grew bubba kush, and it caught pm easily. Once I got my sulphur burner, it was a done deal. Best of luck with the rest of this run broski. You got this!

yeah it can be in the plant and not show symptoms yet. I remember the bubba would show 1st, and then my banana OG would show a week later. I struggled halfway through my 1st run with it. Just make sure to burn with the lights off>on a timer.

Oh man powdery mildew can be the plague . It always pops it s ugly head if your ambient humidity gets above 50% basically . I remember never seeing pm when i was working in Colorado where it's dry . If left untreated it spreads like wildfire . It's early so you might take care to remove the infected leaves and spray w biowar or whatever you use as preventative. Even if it's just water . Then as stated maybe use sulfur burner. as it's early . Sulfur changes the ph on the leaf surface so it won't spread as much. It's phototoxic and should never be used on meds when flowers are well established IMO . I'm not a big fan but it is common practice. U Smell it all over grape country. Watch that humidity it probably did not help when your pump sprayed water everywhere .

FACK!!! That's so shitty and sounds like the spray from the hose is a big culprit in this case. Hopefully it's been spotted early enough that you can stop it with the sulfur. Not a fan of that application at all as it's very evident in the finished product. Especially if you turn that into shatter or wax... Sulfur taste and smell for days after a dab. It is real early though, and most of the people I know that have burned sulfur have done it late in flower.

Positive vibes your way and keep your head up, Cannapa! I really want to see some Yetti beasts in Hydro

Yeah I hope you can nip it in the bud quick bro, being surrounded by all these lakes has it's advantages and disadvantages to it. PM is everywhere on the planet it just needs the right conditions to make a grower's life hell. If you pulling in air from outside make sure it's filtered ....spores are in the air big time from the end of Sept til spring in MI so do that, clean away any plant matter or dust settled in there, and make sure you got plenty of air circulating under and around your girls. It's a lil harder for me to offer any other tips cause I'm in dirt vs hydro.

Maybe add another dehu as humidity really spikes after lites out, seen mine go from 35% - 45% to over 80% within a half hour, PM just loves cool humid MI growrooms for some crazy reason so try not to give it grounds to breed and you should be fine. Good luck Nap

I should probably add that that spike happened while my dehuey was on and it took the better part of 7 hours in 12/12 to drop back down to 40ish%....not good for a room susceptible to PM

Well it has beneficial bacteria that colonize the plant surface. In theory taking the place of pm. I It's best used as a preventative, but spraying anything will blast it off . The problem is it's a systemic disease and can pop back up and spread if given the opportunity.

You do bring up a good pointo_O I need to check my humidity at night, just came home and checked and it 38% humidity now lights on. Yesterday it was much higher think after taking the plastic off the gutters and raising the water temps from 68 to 72 help the condensation build up I had going on. That has to be the source to my humidity problems.

So what can we use safely to systemically prevent pm. like on moms or early veg. Because like what has been stated this shit is a pain in MI. My vege garden seems to get it every damn year especially my zucchini. And i'm sick of burning sulfur indoors.

@Oom pah pah If you don't mind can you enlighten me on what phototoxic

Thanks

Photo toxic simply means never Burn sulfur during the daytime, and be sure to exhaust well before lights come on. Plants perform a process called cellular respiration in which they absorb carbon dioxide through the stomata( pores on leaf). Sulfur and pyrethrum are two things that are phototoxic . What happens is the plant " inhales" the sulfur rapidly and it pretty much instantly frys the plant. Full on necrosis of your previously lovely green lady. . IMO never use sulfur late in flower that is unless you like the taste . Canappa Is safe at this point in the game to give you an idea.

Those girls are plenty young enough to save bro. Ive had poor results with OG Biowar for PM. I recently picked up Safer Gro Mildew Cure. It's mostly oils cottonseed, corn and garlic. OMRI. Couple drops of dish soap to help it stick. Eagle20 in veg! I wouldnt be afraid to hose those down with some plain tap water first either. Ive had my battles with PM and it is a mutherfucker!

Worst idea ever!!! Please read MSDS before you decide to spray with Conserve SC and definitely if you are thinking about using Eagle 20! OGBiowar can handle everything if you use it from start to finish... Pretty easy to brew batches of this and know that you don't have to wear any protective gear or that you aren't damaging the ecosystems nearby. Both Conserve SC and Eagle 20 are bad for aquatic invertebrates and small fish. Which are an important part of the food chain to many other species out there. Can't catch those big fish if all those small fish have died off or have diseases and mutations.

Here we go again with the Conserve SC battle. Please guy keep in mind this is my grow log;) Not a place to promote OGBiowar please. I am not near any water, hell I have a 150 gal fish tank in my grow room and my fish are fine. I can see if it gets into the water though it can be harmful. but just spraying my plants is not going to kill the fish I just dont see how. There are many other concerns to worry about killing are fish here in the great lake. Like those dam Asian Carp! lol
